Dre is getting a tune from Ed
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=872047
I found this funny. Dre = "Highway Drifter" on Nabisco |
That thread will last until a Nabisco Mod cracks down on Ed for vending w/o vendor status.
|
Actually the original thread was locked and discarded and this one created with the understanding that no prices or websites would be posted.
Edit: but they still let him put his website up for some reason. :?: |
I do not care about these people.

Who's Dre?

Ha ha, that's great. Someone should link this to I-club just for yucks. |
This thread needs more 3-wheel motion, just because the name Dre was mentioned.

Man, Dr. Dre, Three Wheel Pics, Pubic Enemy... you're on a roll.

Hypocrisy would be Dre getting a good tune then talking shit.
If Dre has reconsidered and is giving something a try, that's not hypocrisy, that's having an open mind. |

hy·poc·ri·sy Pronunciation Key (h-pkr-s) n. pl. hy·poc·ri·sies 1. The practice of professing beliefs, feelings, or virtues that one does not hold or possess; falseness. 2. An act or instance of such falseness. Changing one's mind is not hypocrisy. Not that I'm connected to this situation, I don't know Dre. But if he talked shit, then changed his mind, he's not being hypocritical unless he continues to talk shit. Also, just because a hypocrit says something, it doesn't make their argument false. Dre can go get a road tune and then tell everyone that road tuning is a stupid thing to do, and his point isn't invalid just 'cause he's done it. |
Okay, fine, he's not a hypocrite. He's a big flip-flopper.
|
Negative ghostrider. Dre disliked Ed because of things he did and/or was a proponent of doing. Either Ed no longer does those things, or he convinced Dre that doing them isn't so bad. Neither is "flip-flopping."
|
So he's drastically changed his opinion from one end of the spectrum to the entire opposite and you don't think that's flip-flopping?
If you guys can't see the irony, I'm sorry. |

This thread is pointless........go swing on Ed's nuts somewhere else we dont really care for it here |
Wow, way to miss my point entirely.
You're obviously reading somthing into my point. You guys love to do that. |
Feel free to type up your point completely, and concisely at any time.
As for this "news", why is it such? Dre stated many times he never had a problem with Ed's tunes. Always said he thought they looked good (after seeing the AFR charts, that is). Now that Ed has calmed down and stoped personally attacking other tuners and got a business license, most of Dre's concerns were addressed (I think all thats left is a real brick & mortar shop). This isn't that big of a leap for Dre, and if you've ever met him, you'd know this isn't really that out of line for him. He is a very open minded individual, and willing to eat his words if proven wrong. It just takes a strong will to try and prove him wrong. |
I've already explained my point more than I feel is necessary. I just found it surprising and funny that the same guy that flamed the hell out of Ed is now going to him to get his car tuned. I wasn't trying to make a big point of anything. I just thought I'd share somthing I found amusing.
I'm sorry, I'll never do it again. And I don't think there's anything wrong with changing your mind. This is just a wingdinger. That is all. |
Is this thread closed yet?
Oh wait, I just closed it. |
