Is this Super Bowl...

...boring as hell, or is it just me?

sperry 2006-02-05 06:10 PM

Wait... Seattle just intercepted... it's a game again.

...but still, I'm not all that excited.

We're watching it now on Tivo. The commercials are ass this year. Usually more than just Bud make a few decent commercials, but thus far (early 3rd quarter for us) all but Bud suck.

The game is ok. That run in the beginning of the third was kick ass. The half time show was shit on wheels. This shit is getting way over done.

sperry 2006-02-05 07:16 PM

I played GT4 during halftime.

Nick Koan 2006-02-05 07:47 PM

Watching old crappy 70's sci-fi > superb owl this year.

Dude. The reverse play by the Steelers was beautiful. And I just saw the MacGuyver MasterCard commercial. Fucking golden. That was excellent.

The Fed-Ex commercial and the Sprint one where the dude chucks the phone at his friend were hilarious. The Tacoma rolling around in the ocean was a nice tribute to the Top Gear episode too.

The officiating in the game was AWFUL.

tysonK 2006-02-05 08:24 PM

I liked the Sprint commercial.

AtomicLabMonkey 2006-02-05 08:38 PM

The stones need to hang it up, Jagger has flabby granny arms and Keith Richards walks like a geriatric patient.

Yeah. His arms were pretty scary. And the rest of the band couldn't move for shit. They should just retire with their billions :(

Ditto. I told my friends about the Top Gear episode too.

All and all I thought the game was exciting... I was with a bunch of friends AND drinking beer.

Oh, and Scott, baseball sucks.

Bob Danger 2006-02-05 09:18 PM

I think it's time everyone stops referring to it as "Airbrushing" and call it what it is...Photoshop. Son of a bitch. No one has a f'n airbrush.

I know, that makes sense I guess...

I used to have an airbrush for my RC cars, I made some sweet paint jobs. Then my sister loaned it to some shithead and I never got it back.

Aaron Neville isn't my favorite singer. In my opinion, he butchered the National Anthem. Aretha couldn't salvage it from that point. What a shame.

It's one of the hardest songs to sing. People expect it to sound a certain way and Aaron's "over-personalization" ruined it for me.

Plus Aaron Neville sucks more than when the Dyson Vacuum Corperation and Gay Male Bendy-Straw Aficionado Club share a convention hall for their respective annual meetings.

Wow, I just don't know what to say about this...definitely the strangest thing I've read for some time.

How do you know about the GMB-SAC? Are you a secret member?

As long as the only reason she opened her mouth was to have me plug it with my love bus it would be ok. I actually had to turn off the TV because I couldn't stand to hear her talk.

I know a lot of chicks like that. Except sometimes they aren't on TV, and its akward when you say "Mute" and gesture like you are pressing a button on an imaginary remote control.

Where does "she has a busted face" imply that I wouldn't tax that like it was April 15th?

MPREZIV 2006-02-09 12:01 PM

April 15th!! That's great!!

Generally, when someone points out only negative characteristics of any given subject, I get the impression that said person is adverse to the subject as a whole. If it had been "she has a busted face, but a bangin' body!", then I may have assumed that there was still interest. The only comment offered was negative, thus I got the impression that you were negative on the entire subject.

Just me! As long as we're in agreement that that booty is appropriate for waxing, no foul! :D

I didn't want to waste the electrons by stating the obvious fact that she's got TnA for a family of four.
