Who's the Biggest Car Whore?

Who's goes through the most vehicles? Take the number of vehicles you've owned and divide the total by the number of years you've been driving.

1988 Mazda RX-7
1990 Ford Probe
1987 Subaru GL
2003 Mitsubishi Lancer
2002 Subaru Impreza WRX
1985 Toyota Corolla GT-S Coupe
1992 Mitsubishi Galant VR-4
1987 VW Scirocco 16V
1988 Toyota Corolla FX20 GT-S
1985 Toyota Corolla GT-S Hatch
1987 Toyota Corolla GT-S Coupe
1990 Dodge Caravan

That averages out to 2.4 cars a year.

MattR 2006-12-31 02:08 PM

I may not have the most, but I've had the least Color of anyone.

92 Nissan Maxima (Silverish)
95 Jeep Wrangler (Black)
98 Jeep Wrangler (White)
02 WRX Wagon (White)
04 WRX STI (Silver)
05 Nissan Titan (Silver)
02 Mini Cooper S (Charcoal) Inhereted
03 Nissan Frontier (Silver) same

tysonK 2006-12-31 02:25 PM

1985 Plymouth Horizon Hatch (Tan) for 3 Years
1995 Dodge NEON (Red) for 5 Years
2003 Subaru WRX (Black) for 3.5 Years
2004 Mitsubishi Evolution (Black) for 3 Months

On my way to a Porsche I guess...

I never had any big problems with the NEON it treated me well.

We did this once before with Sergio (BOO) coming in with lots IIRC.

100_Percent_Juice 2006-12-31 02:26 PM

89 F-150
05 Saturn Ion
05 Saturn Vue
04 WRX

Id have to be the least whore of you all.

sperry 2006-12-31 03:33 PM

86 Ford Escort (white)
88 Acura Legend (red)
95 Ford Thunderbird (green)
02 Subaru WRX (blue)
94 Subaru SVX (red)
01 Ford F-250 (red)

0.46 cars per year... but I'm all about quality over quantity, as that WRX has about 4 cars worth of dollars into it. :(

JC 2006-12-31 03:57 PM

83 Jeep Grand Wagoneer (Gold)
93 Subaru Legacy L (Purple)
00 Subaru Impreza 2.5RS (White)
92 Subaru SVX (Burgundy)
89 Acura Integra (Green)
92 Subaru Legacy Touring Wagon (Red)
03 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII (White)

That's ~ 1 car per year. :) I should get James on here, he's had like 40 cars. :p

sybir 2006-12-31 04:00 PM

84 Toyota 4x4 (gunmetal)
86 Toyota Camry (blue)
97 OB (black)
92 Leg Turbo Wagon (maroon)
02 WRX wagon (blue)......hey, I had the title to it.....:lol:
89 FC3S (NA) (red)
92 Leg Turbo Wagon (maroon).......I don't learn very quickly.

7 cars, 10 years = .7 cars per year.

Nick Koan 2006-12-31 04:46 PM

1981 Toyota Pickup (White/Red)
1989 Toyota Pickup (Silver)
1993 Toyota Corolla All-Trac (Red)
1994 Toyota Corolla DX (Blue)
2002 Subaru Legacy L (Green)
2005 Subaru Legacy GT (Red)

5 Cars, 10 years. .5 cars per year.

I'm also sensing a trend in my cars (though the first 4 can be attributed to my family trends, and then being handed down to me. )

AtomicLabMonkey 2006-12-31 05:37 PM

1982 Audi 4000 (metallic shit brown)
1987 Jeep Cherokee (maroon)
1995 Ford Mustang (white)
1991 Mazda 626 (white)
1995 Jeep Cherokee (white)
1999 Toyota Corolla (flaking black)
1990 Mazda Miata (bright red)
2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee (light tan)

Since about 1993... so that's ~.62/year.

Kevin M 2006-12-31 06:23 PM

In order of acquisition:

1995 Ford Ranger 4x2 purple (1999)
2001 Subaru Impreza RS blue (2000)
1994 Mercury Topaz silver (2001- don't ask...)
1984 Toyota Celica GT-S white (2001)
1980 Nissan 280ZX black/gold (2002)
1996 Mazda Miata blue (2005)
1992 Ford Aerostar red (2005)
1991 Ford Ranger 4x4 silver (2006)
2001 Subaru Impreza RS #2 silver (2006)
1997 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport green/gray (2006)

I got my license exactly 10 years ago today, but I didn't own a car until I was 20. So 10 cars in 7 years= 1.43 per year. I'd be winning if Bob doesn't get to count cars that never ran. :p

M3n2c3 2006-12-31 06:29 PM

1984 Hyundai Elantra, maroon
1990 Daewoo Prince, black
1994 Eagle Vision TSi, silver-blue
2005 Subaru Impreza RS, white

I've been driving since 1995 (I didn't bother to get licensed till my senior year :P ), but I didn't buy a car (the Hyundai) until the last year of my military service, which was mid-2000. So that's either about 0.33 cars/yr or 0.57 cars/yr depending on how you look at it.

zpeed 2006-12-31 06:47 PM

1970 Datsun 510 in Thailand
1980 Datsun B210

1991 Eagle Talon TSI

0.55 cars per year

84 Ford Ranger, Tan

92 Galant VR-4

Libila 2007-01-01 02:30 PM

Do boats and trailers count? :)

If so, add another 13... or 1.27

I may have missed a car or boat somewhere... I'm old.

Speaking of which, do walkers count?

Also, we are talking about cars we actually owned, not just drove regularly, right? I would also contend that you can only count ones you actually ever had the pink slip for in your hands for more than a week or are currently paying on. Loans and leases, trades, etc. are slightly cheating as you never owned the car.

Walkers only count if you use them regularly. So go ahead and count them Dean. :P

I was only counting vehicles I've actually had the pink slip for, except for my RS.

Bob Danger 2007-01-01 10:17 PM

I was only counting cars I had slips for. I only had my VW for 3 weeks, I really wish I would have kept it.
