That is the height of the ceiling where the entire frame ends. its 12 feet tall 30 feet wide and 24 feet deep.
gonna have atleast 2 places to connect into the air system. one hanging down from the ceiling in the middle that will have a 50' reel and one by the front door in the middle that will just be a place to connect an extra air hose to do tires. and what not out in front.

WRX06TR 2007-05-11 03:32 PM

Sweet...maybe by June I will have some parts that need installing...

sti deede 2007-05-11 10:13 PM

How come you didn't pour the slab with the rest of the footings? Usually it's all poured together so you can save money on the cost of the trip for the concrete truck?

wrxkidid 2007-05-11 11:20 PM

we couldnt cause hte guy doing the concrete messed his finger up so he couldnt work all week and this was the only time the framers had until july.

edit: more pictures
here is one showing exactly how tall this beast is because they finished framing the roof today. thats me standing in front of it. sorry its small my internet is being stupid. theres still more bigger ones when my internet speeds back up.

wrxkidid 2007-05-25 03:48 PM

its cause its a 6 bolt crank instead of a 7. or that might be backwards but one of the two.

speaking of cranks.

what is crank walk?

100_Percent_Juice 2007-06-28 12:18 PM

bump for update

wrxkidid 2007-06-28 01:41 PM

right now they are setting the forms for the driveway and they should pour the cement tomorrow.

other than that the exterior is mostly finished the stucco is done and all the trim is done. The inside is drywalled and taped and should get painted early next week. The lift comes mid next week and the new transformer for the 220v for the lift should be finished next week as well.

Its getting closer. ill try to get some new pictures today.

wrxkidid 2007-07-18 09:25 AM

tysonK 2007-07-18 09:41 AM

MPREZIV 2007-07-18 11:13 AM

Put up the "BCT" sign out front... :D

100_Percent_Juice 2007-07-18 11:28 AM

Why did you buy that T70? I told you that I have one! and I only paid 11.37 for it.

I drove by your house the other day on the way to my parents house and no one was home. Looking awesome though!

WRX06TR 2007-07-18 11:41 AM

Awesome, I have to buy some parts so I have a reason to use the lift...lol.

cody 2007-07-18 12:00 PM

Man, I want a lift in my garage. I'm tired of spending an hour simply swapping wheels and climbing under the car sucks. One cool thing is that it takes no jack or tools at all to change my oil. Fumoto Oil Valve FTW.

sperry 2007-07-18 12:16 PM

Robby... take one picture with you in it where you don't look like a shortstop cutting off a throw from center.

Also, are you coming to the Trials this Saturday?

MattR 2007-07-18 01:44 PM

Ddue, you have a nice view of that schoolyard...Hello internet.

wrxkidid 2007-07-18 02:54 PM

they blocked it matt. don't ask me how i know :)

scott im not sure i might be headed up to lake almanor with a buddy but if I don't i will probably head out there and help out.

I was asking just 'cause Dave and Carol didn't get a registration from you for the PDX, and were wondering if you were coming.

wrxkidid 2007-07-18 03:05 PM

I thought PDX was possible w/ a minor waiver... or that only for T.E.A.M. or something?

wrxkidid 2007-07-18 04:18 PM

TEAM i could only ride along with a minor waiver AND a parent present at the track . ill email dave. probably wont make this one but if im allowed to drive the next one for sure.

wrxkidid 2007-07-18 04:20 PM

http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c3...A/IMGP0302.jpg

more stuff. toolbox is really nifty. both sides onpen up and then the shelves with slide to either side.

The oil drain extends up taller too.

btw the floor is going to be sealed. we might do it white so it will reflect light and not need a drop light but im not sure.

Nick Koan 2007-07-18 04:49 PM

A chrome floor would reflect the light better.

MPREZIV 2007-07-18 06:45 PM

Tranny jack FTMFW!!!!! To hell with all that other shit! TRANNY JACK!!! I'm so proud of you...

MattR 2007-07-18 07:33 PM

That really is a sweet garage, I hope to do somehting along those lines some day.

wrxkidid 2007-07-18 09:34 PM

i have a funny picture involving the tranny jack. ill post it up tommorow.

rubberbiscuitt 2007-07-18 09:37 PM

awesome garage. are the air lines behind the sheetrock??

wrxkidid 2007-07-18 09:51 PM

yep. theres actually a reel thats getting mounted on the ceiling that is one of those self retracting locking dealios and then a connection out front to use to fill tires and what not.
