exhaust mumbo jumbo

alex just got a new exhaust. yeah i made it.

http://i13.tinypic.com/66y9cav.jpg
no kill like over kill. note the fish-mouths on the expanded tube. hand made donut gasket flange thingy.
http://i17.tinypic.com/4zmoklg.jpg
lightening holes.
http://i13.tinypic.com/62fxpaf.jpg
more of the same lightening holes. no washers? WWMGD? drill a hole through the dude's head on the quarter.
http://i7.tinypic.com/4t8dh5z.jpg
only pic of installed exhaust. bad lighting at midnight, when it was finally finished.

it sounds awesome. no drone at highway speed. you can even still hear the tires while sliding sideways up echo summit.

3" catback. cut-n-weld mandrel bent. magnaflow 3" in, dual 2.5" out. really long case for more noise capacity. fit's all factory stuff using nothing factory except rubber hangers.

i think the only thing half-assed was the dent required to clear the carrier bearing(near the expansion). at least he's not going to hang it up on a rock as easily.

now, i need to start thinking about a label for me. what do you think?

I like the look of your over kill hardcore hangers. I was never a fan of the twin tip though.

Think of this as a mass marketing opportunity...

White Power, exclusively at Black Cory Tuning...

The controversy and morning show appearances alone will be worth millions in advertising. ;)

Double Phister 2007-07-03 08:21 AM

White Power is already taken

Wait, maybe not. Is that thing just catback only?

MPREZIV 2007-07-03 08:49 AM

You've got to be cautious with that - you may mean well, but you can't simply ignore the way people are likely to read it. It may be your last name, but a phrase like "white power" is definitely in the danger zone.

rubberbiscuitt 2007-07-04 07:57 AM

ok fine... sorry.

MPREZIV 2007-07-05 06:33 AM

Don't worry man, we were just F*ing with you! You have to admit, it's funny...

cody 2007-07-05 08:42 AM

Hey is this BCT? I hear you can you install this White Supremecy exhaust system for me...

:liljon:

Nice work Ansel. :)

A1337STI 2007-07-06 08:11 AM

Yeah its stock legal by the national level rules. (it starts after my last Cat, and terminates after the rear axle) and as long as i'm below 96 DBs i'm NV state and reno region legal too. I know its quite a bit quieter than some of the louder cars out there, So worst case, if someone protests me for being over the limit i can protest out a dozen or so louder cars than mine, out of spite :P

As long as I'm not going uphill i think its Cali legal, I'll have to see how much DB meters are at radio shack, I'm curious now just how loud it is.

I could see why saying White power would be mad offensive, Being that its your last name and that you yourself are a minority, I just think its really funny

If you don't say things that are offensive, every once and a while, how do you know the 1st amendment is still working? :?:

A1337STI 2007-07-06 08:18 AM

The new exhaust is actually a little lighter than the stock one. 28 lbs ish, vs 35. Though my reason for getting one made was just for the ear candy, and I like to kid myself that this Cat Back may get slight better gas millage.

rubberbiscuitt 2007-07-09 07:45 PM

100_Percent_Juice 2007-07-09 09:47 PM

I'm only 15/16 white, but my great*3023-grandparents were from Africa.

M3n2c3 2007-07-10 09:46 AM

That's cool, I'm full European.

Oh man... I don't know how any licensed driver in Korea makes it to age 20. They're insane. But the funny thing is, I never saw evidence of an accident there. They ignore the traffic laws and just watch out for everyone else and don't run into each other.

knucklesplitter 2007-07-10 10:13 AM

Oh btw, nice job on the custom exhaust. ;)

Quoted for muthafuckin truth. Korean drivers are crazy. I'm surprised that I didn't become roadkill over there.

M3n2c3 2007-07-10 12:28 PM

Too true. I think they're born with a 6th sense for driving. It's crazy to watch. Riding the bus is downright scary!
