I know not many here drag race but I fing it fun when I'm not ripping up truck rout or 6 mile can.
time was done on a conservative DD tune 22-23 psi AFR's in 4th were 11.4 across. I switched to the new CBRD BBK turbo its good stuff. the yellow slip was the first non-tuning run..blew off the throttle body hose before the 1/8.. |

Haha, Stomped may be an understatement when you're beaten by 8+ seconds on a 50 second course.
|
:Dya having a plate frame that says that is all fine and good if it's true.. but it's NOT!!!
haha someone needs to slip a new plate frame on without him lookin that says " one big hunk o junk " |
i was thinking "I get eaten by imports for breakfast"

All drag racing is good for is to give you a good idea of how much power your car has by taking a look at your trap speeds..not so much your et's. I guess tired of getting whiped in the corneres he figured he'd try draging, something V-8's are suposed to be good in. Then he gets spanked by a 4 cyl., 4 door again...When I said I made it a point to destroy him I mean that he was giving me the I have a V-8 and you have an import poop eye. I lined up with him on one of my tuning runs..I did an 18+sec. run..Hurry get to 4th then punch it.. I got next to him in the staging lanes and he just smurked at me. since his windows were down and another racer came up to talk to me..I made a loud statement that I was going to cursh him. I got the poop eye again which made the slaughter better.

How many runs do you get for $45?
If you have a slow car, you get more seat time/$... :) |

Yes they sell fuel...all kinds of hight octaine goodness. Unleaded and leaded. Howevery no use in using it unless you are tuned for it.
As for how many runs you get dean...As many as you can get in line for. I've goten 12-13 passes before...and it beats sac.. 50$ for a 4 hour test and tune.. |

Only if you'd knock without it. A proper 91 octane tune won't knock under normal circumstances, but even a good tune will knock on a hot day with a heat soaked IC. This is where you'll see the benefit of NOT LOSING performance due to the heatsoak>knock>ECU retarding timing. 100 octane actually has less energy per liter or whatever than 91 octane, but since it does it's job and decreases the propensity for the car to knock, you can run more advanced timing and boost on it. That's how race gas tunes will take advantage of it. I spike my octane with Torco when I autoX on hot days even though I'm tuned for 91.

huh yep ive used the vp 100 but wonder how old it is, or how long it sits in that tank since it's so spendy...
|
Good question. Wonder if the employees or management would tell you how often they get it filled.

Ha! Also, Ed's tuned several big turbo Subarus in the area and they all got race gas tunes. Most of them street race. It probably does turn over fairly quickly, but it's all relative...hopefully it comes in small frequent batches.
|
shit they probably add a gallon or two of prestone octane booster in some 91 and sell it for 7.65
