Fast and Furious Post Meet Meet -THURS. 4/9 Sierra Summit 7:55 or 9:20
 

This is for those of us that won't be there Sat. for whatever reason.

Figured a separate thread was in order.

Summit Sierra is 2 blocks from Tamarack, so it is easy and we can shoot for either show depending on how the main meet goes. Probably shoot for 7:55PM though.

You couldn't wait a couple days? way to confuse the shit out of me.

I'd be more inclined to see it during the week.

If it is worth anything, I saw it last night, and I think it was a LOT better than the previous two. The acting was still just O.K.

7:55PM works perfectly with a 6:00PM meet 2 blocks away though...

Only if you can make it to the meet in the first place.

I have all 3 kids til 8. So 9:20 is better for me.

If you guys figure this out there is a chance I'll come too if it's after the meet. Dean's original time actually sounded good.

I went on Sat, as it turned out.

I heard it was horrible (like i didn't already know), so I'll just wait til someone forces me to watch it.

It was horrible, as expected. But it's better than #2 and #3 were... and just a little worse than #1 was. But complaining it was bad is like complaining that ice cream is cold. It's supposed to be bad!

Agreed, and I didn't think it was horrible, it was exactly as I expected. :cool:

The only thing that pisses me off are stupid fight scenes were there are a lot of punches landed but no actual damage given.

I thought the bungee jump from the helicopter into the ventilation duct was a little unrealistic and gratuitous. Plus, having Vin Diesel and Paul Walker switch identities in order to confuse and infiltrate the triad opium den was kinda of a rip off of Face-Off. And at the end, with the 100's of STis in the desert... that was blatantly taken from the end of Three Amigos. Hell, even the main bad guy looked like El Guapo!

I saw it thursday at midnight and definitely didnt think it was worth staying up that late. It kinda sucked, but I suppose it was better then the last ones. That STI at the end was just god awful though, I was happy of the outcome haha. The body style has grown on me, but ricing out nice cars has still not ><

I was planning to play it by ear at the meet but was leaning towards 7:55. 9:20 is past my bed time and leaves an hour or so to kill after the meet.

Anybody still want to see it at 9:20 Park lane or Sparks? 8:00 Park Lane and 7:55 Sparks are an option...

Meet was a bust, so I am not driving back to the South end of town and Riverside isn't until 10:00.

Still looking for another time to go see it...

I couldn't help but not watch most of it. I fell asleep. Not saying it was awful cuz the parts I was awake for were entertaining, but I'll definitely watch it (not watch it?) again at home.

I watched it last night 9:20 at Summit Sierra. I thing it's only 7-8 people total. The ticket checker not even there to check it.

A 40oz and "Vanishing Point". Better choice.

movie was not worth the 10 bucks IMO wait till it comes out. I say see it but wait till you dont have to pay through the nose.
