GusGus91 2009-08-03 11:01 AM

I'd like to know how those tires have that much tread wear on them.. they were put on like a month ago.. But bump for the wheels i was going to buy.. =(

Kevin M 2009-08-03 11:09 AM

Bad alignment after the springs would be my guess.

EMO 2009-08-03 11:47 AM

Yes it is. haha I know that first hand. I love it.

100_Percent_Juice 2009-08-03 03:53 PM

Loren's alignment burned through tires before this guy put the springs on. That is why.

EMO 2009-08-03 08:29 PM

maybe? idk, don't really care. but seriously, i need these sold. you alllll know you want to rock these.

100_Percent_Juice 2009-08-03 08:33 PM

I would rock these. If the price was $1k.

EMO 2009-08-03 08:37 PM

if you give me $1k tomorrow they are yours. haha, seriously

100_Percent_Juice 2009-08-03 08:52 PM

How about 800 tonight and you can keep the tires.

EMO 2009-08-03 08:54 PM

naw have no use for the tires. $1k is as low as ill go. well worth the money, as we all know they do not make these anymore and are pretty hard to come by. atleast from what ive seen. hit me up on the cell and let me know if you wanna do it. if they dont sell this week then price will be 1500 firm til they do sell.

100_Percent_Juice 2009-08-03 08:59 PM

Fine. $900 final offer.

EMO 2009-08-03 09:00 PM

haha $100 more and ill deliver it to you tonight

100_Percent_Juice 2009-08-03 09:05 PM

$800 and I will pick them up.

EMO 2009-08-03 09:07 PM

lol nope. $1k is the lowest. you even said you would rock them if they were $1k haha now they are.

100_Percent_Juice 2009-08-03 09:33 PM

You are making this very difficult.

EMO 2009-08-03 09:35 PM

lol, its actually pretty easy. you give me $1,000 then i give you the rims. we shake hands and we both leave happy. haha, i need the money for my build.

EMO 2009-08-06 05:15 PM

come on guys, need these sold.

Unfortunately, just because they're forged doesn't make up for them being small. You can get brand new cast FN01RC's in 17x9" for $1000, which are just as strong, and still very light at ~19lbs IIRC.

You're going to need to find a buyer looking for forged street wheels, which is kind of a contradiction in terms. You'd have much more luck selling them to an RS owner... but they're cheap bastards, so you'll probably have to lower the price to $600 or so to get anyone interested.

I'm not cheap, I'm poor!

But your point is correct. Next to nobody is interested in forged 7.5" wheels.

van 2009-08-07 10:58 AM

not cheap, thrifty. I pay no more than $70 for 17x7.5 wheels

thanks for your input, but im not gonna lower the price just because reno people are cheap. these are not rotas or anything like that. so if people wanna be cheap and buy cheap/crap wheels thats fine, but i know that there are people out there looking for a nice set of dd wheels that arent just another set of wack ass rotas.

Kevin M 2009-08-08 10:27 AM

He didn't say you're overcharging- he said there's no market for them, and it's true. Very few people are willing to drop $1000 on wheels that aren't big enough for really wide tires. that, and hardly anybody has mod money these days anyway. Big ticket items just don't sell right now.

EMO 2009-08-08 03:42 PM

very true, and i see what you guys are tryin to say. i will just have to leave them up for sale for a while until someone out there feels they need to have them. haha

EMO 2009-08-09 11:29 PM

bump for nice wheels! and wheels that wont fit any of my cars haha

EMO 2009-08-12 09:36 PM

EMO 2009-08-19 11:15 AM

100_Percent_Juice 2009-09-13 04:36 PM

That is an awesome price. I would be picking these up if I didn't just have to buy another clutch.

It's a shame these won't fit on a honda... they'd be perfect wheels on an EG hatch or something similar.

EMO 2009-09-23 11:16 PM

haha, i can actually get 4x100 to 5x100 adapters from h&r, but i need them for my track car and spacers dont sound too safe. if these were 4x100 i would keep them for sure because i need at least 16s to clear my brakes.

if i can find a set of these is 16" and 4x100 i will def be getting them. love these wheels.

EMO 2009-09-23 11:17 PM

oh, and the car im building is an ek hatch with itr motor.

I got a set of 18" Mas Italy wheels that I would let go for dirt cheap. I was going to stick them on my old car but I ended up getting my subaru. Let me know if you are interested. They need to be painted.

EMO 2009-09-24 09:09 PM

those are nice wheels, but not looking for anything that big.

100_Percent_Juice 2009-09-24 09:33 PM

Where do you think I should post those? I was thinking around $200.

EMO 2009-09-24 09:56 PM

you may get some hits on this other local forum. post them for like $350 obo

nolimitimports.com

100_Percent_Juice 2009-09-24 10:14 PM

I don't have an account over there. How about you post them and anything over $200 you can have.

EMO 2009-09-24 10:23 PM

ok, pm me with all the info on them and any pics you have and ill get em sold for you.

100_Percent_Juice 2009-09-25 06:43 AM
