Stuff FS, Etc.

1. SOLD -- For Free: Old Kenwood stereo cabinet. It's tall and narrow, wood veneer, with a few shelves and a glass door (with a couple stickers that could be scraped off). It's a little rickety but I've used it as a stereo cabinet with an old 27" CRT TV on top for years.

2. RECYCLED -- For Cheap: Set of four 225/45/17 Kumho Ecsta MX (I think) down to the wear bars. They’re on the 5zigen rims I just bought and they’ll get recycled if nobody wants them. $20?

3. SOLD -- $499.99 FIRM: Set of five Enkei RP02 17X7.5 +48 wheels with 225/45/17 RE01R’s mounted on 4 rims. The tires have enough meat for roughly half an autocross season (not quite to the wear bars). Wear is very even across each tire. The 5th rim has an old RT615 in the same size as the RE01R's making it a great spare. Has similar wear to the RE01R's, maybe a bit more tread left.

Details (some of them outdated) and old pics available here: http://seccs.org/forums/showthread.p...ighlight=enkei

4. Feeler: Set of four stock size (205/55/16?) Dunlop Wintersport 3D tires. I think they could work for another Winter but I may just play it safe and replace them before next Winter. I'd run them all Summer, but I have Summer wheels/tires for that. They've got maybe 40% tread left. I'll have to double check. Currently on the car. Amazing tires. $75 for the set?

"Not quite to the wear bars" is a full season of autocross if they're not daily driven. :)

That very well may be true. I planned to run them until the end of the season or until they corded, whichever came first, before I bought the wider rims.

Added item 4.

Somebody requested pics of the Dunlop tires. I have these on file. They were taken about two weeks ago. I can easily take new ones tomorrow, let me know.

These tires don't seem like snow tires until you use them in the snow. They are awesome in every way on any surface.

100_Percent_Juice 2010-03-19 03:00 PM

The metadata states that those pictures were taken 3 years ago. Nice try Cody!

cody 2010-03-19 03:02 PM

19 days ago, but who's counting. I've jumped like 9 drawbridges and done 83 drift events since then.

bigrobwoot 2010-03-19 05:58 PM

Where the hell did you find a drawbridge?

Kevin M 2010-03-19 10:25 PM

In front of his castle. Duh.

Bump for five 16.8Lb legit wheels with tires for $600. I'll throw in item #2 (4 more tires) to sweeten the deal. Should last you a full autocross season.

khail19 2010-03-20 10:22 PM

I used to have a set of these, and I didn't think they would look that great on the car. I bought them because they were light and pretty cheap. After putting them on though, they looked really good to me, and they were noticeably lighter than the wheels I had previously. This is a great deal if you're in the market for lightweight wheels.

cody 2010-03-21 07:16 AM

Thanks Khail. Feel free to add a pic of them on your car if you want. Here's a couple of them on mine.

Nice! Man, they look tons better on your car.

Jeikun 2010-03-21 02:49 PM

Would you be willing to sell only 4 with no tires?

cody 2010-03-21 03:46 PM

Sorry, but I'm not.

cody 2010-03-21 07:36 PM

I've had some requests for pics so I added more to the first post on the I-Club thread.

Khail, your "WRX" got a complement over there. :) Actually, I got a request for some rolling shots of your car via PM.

 That's funny.

moose 2010-03-21 08:54 PM

Hey Cody. Do you want me to post some pics of them on my car so people can get a perspective of them on a car besides a bug eye?

cody 2010-03-21 08:55 PM

Sure! Thanks.

moose 2010-03-22 12:08 AM

Alrighty.

Damn kids... GET OFF MY LAWN!

A1337STI 2010-03-22 12:22 PM

you can just barely tell your M3's are just about to the winter wear bars, IIRC they change compounds at that point too. Probably would do great for RallyX, Daily driving, light surprise snow , and all of summer.

I wouldn't choose to use those for an other winter though. :)

Wish i had 16's for the 93, those would make a great summer / dirt practice tire though!!!

cody 2010-03-22 12:52 PM

I don't think the M3's change compound as you wear them down like some other Winter tires. I'll take better pics of the tread when I pull them off in the coming weeks.

I might be interested in them for winter wheels on my SVX. Would you sell them w/o the tires for cheaper? I'd be willing to buy all 5... I just have no use for the tires on them.

Edit... wait, I just remembered these are 5x100 only, huh. :(

cody 2010-04-07 09:00 AM

Yep, 5X100. Sorry. And I'm not really willing to keep the tires but the buyer could certainly try to sell them.

cody 2010-05-31 08:11 AM

Sold the Enkei's finally. You'll see them out at autocross on a silver MY 08 2.5i. They look awesome on that car and he's going to use the tires until they cord. :)
