If you take up smoking you won't notice anymore.
j/k

MikeSTI 2004-11-21 10:26 AM

man Scott, I think I was the only one in the bar smoking and when I did I went to the otherside of the bar :P

sperry 2004-11-21 12:33 PM

I was just saying that that place seems to have less ventilation as other places we've been to. Usually the cigarette smoke doesn't bother me so much.

doubleurx 2004-11-22 08:31 PM

Is there a meet this week? Obviously Thursday won't work. I'll be in Reno Wednesday night with both kids.

sperry 2004-11-22 08:36 PM

I'm gonna be in the Bay at my parents, so I won't be around.

Usually Thanksgiving meets are unofficial and scheduled by those people who want to get together. I think a few people met up last year.

No problem. I'll probably be wiped with both kids. Have a great Thanksgiving.

So, where are we heading this Thursday?

C&C? Sparky's in Galena? on 4th & McCarran? anywhere?

sperry 2004-11-30 12:00 PM

At risk of pissing off Dean :P, I still think we should do the Galena Sparky's.

Kevin M 2004-11-30 12:07 PM

Works for me- and we're the closest ones to 4th and McCarran anyway.

The one that Scotts talking about is down on Mt. Rose Highway, very south of town.

By the way it works for me. :D

I know, I'm just taking the wind out of Dean's complaining sails. :P He can't complain about going to Galena if we don't.

After eating there again last week with Eric and Marissa, I think we should go back to the Flowing tide! There food is so much better than any Bullys/Sparkys IMHO.

If someone from the south end of town could go by and talk to them, I bet they would reserve a table for 20 or so for us. Or maybe the Northwest one as well. I guess I could cruise by there tomorrow.

Also, there is the "'I can't remember the first word' Creek Tap Room" that has a NON-Smoking restaurant area next to Wild Oats accross from Meadowood that migh have potential. Anybody been there?

Even if they were to reserve all that space, which is unlikely simply because they'd have to put the reservations out shortly after lunch, there's still no parking in that lot. Now that all the businesses in that center are open, it's hard to find one open spot let alone 20.

But I will agree, the food and service there is awesome.

the In-N-Out burger on Pyirmid and 80 doesnt look to crowded?
