Moving on to yet another motor sport?

I wonder if that would fit into the wagon.

And it runs a 125cc two stroke motorcycle engine, right? You say all it needs is an engine - what would work, what is recommended, and if, say, I, were to pick it up, what exactly would I need to get it on the road?

Been contemplating picking up my bosses 125 shifter for a few years now but he hasn't run it since 98 as he hasn't had anywhere to run it. Wants $4500 for it which seems way high for a 97 or so, especially with this bad boy at so much lower.

This kart was run as a TAG. If your new to karting, you could start with a 4cycle CLONE engine. The local club has a healthy feild to race with. After you get used to things, I'd pickup a Rotax (configured in the photos above is a Rotax engine). Think you can pick up a CLONE package currently for around $199.

The kart will fit in a full size pickup or compact (removing front nose, body work and rear wheels). Some folks run a small flat bed trailer behind cars. Harbor Freight sells small flatbed trailers for around $400. I was looking into that set up when I was driving my Legacy.

Take a look at this link, http://nevadaclonekarting.proboards....ex.cgi#general I can also assist you with setting the clone or Tag engine up and will go to the track with you to assist you in getting her up and running (yes its a she).

Nope, just a new team. I will post photos of the new kart tomorrow after testing at Dixon.

I ended up finding some wheels today :) so I'm going to go all out on the car this year and go all out this season :) so no new toy for me :(

I'll let my boss know though, I know he's had the itch for years. Maybe at least get out there and run his own, maybe step it up a notch, never know.

Karting on proper tracks in the UK was one of the best experiences I've ever had, and I'd jump at the chance to do it again. It's why I'm building the car for this season, and for fun.
