I need to force ready my monitors, got a tatrix cable?

I reset the computer when i did my timjng belt like 350 miles ago. I went to get my car smogged and 2 monitors are not getting completed and my reg expired days ago and im tired of all the trips to DMV and smog check. Can anyone help me with these. I have a laptop just not a tatrix cable anymore. I read on nasioc that it's pretty easy to force them all ready.

do you know which monitors? i can tell you the criteria needed for them to complete as far forcing them i cant help u then. have you been driving the car?

Yes. I have been driving 350miles of city and freeway and letting my car idle for 10min. The monitors are OBD CATALYST and OXY SNSR.

Those monitors should have reset 100+ miles ago.

Don't you have an AccessPort? If so, you will not be able to force the monitors, because it requires an open-source reflash.

I have an AP, I no longer have an AP cable. I guess I will have to keep driving it. After much reading on NASIOC, it seems that several people have had this problem and there is little consistency as to when they are ready. Seems to be based on time spent driving at specific speeds instead of a set mileage.

I have an AP cable if you need to borrow one.

It will not help him. AP cannot force the readiness monitors to reset.

This is just horrible timing thats all. Thank you Dean for offering. I just need to find someone that is about to buy a new AP and sell them mine so they get the $200 trade in value and then I will have the money to have Matt do an opensource tune for me. So I may use your cable to unmarry my AP when the time comes if that's ok. Matt keep an ear out for me if any customer is looking to buy a new AP! ;)

If anyone is interested or might have some insight or if you just want to increase your post count, read my thread about this problem on NASIOC.

If you pull your ECU & send it in, COBB will unmarry it for you.

Assume the AP won't power up from the wall adapter either? If it does, maybe it is an electrical problem in the car.

Might just try unplugging the ECU and plugging it back in.
