Probably not the way you're thinking, though!

   Looks like fun.

What did the left lane run? It looks like he got a much better light.

Don't quit your day job. :)

Mike told me the other weekend they were looking at doing the tuner shootout where drag racing was one of the events. Was this "practice"?

Also, an 11.0 is awesome... with a little practice, that's probably a solid 10 second car!

Edit: hey Gary, were you running with the flat-foot shifting turned on in the Hydra? If not, turning it on would easily drop the car into the 10's.

The trap speed is the true indicator of power/weight ratio, 132 mph indicates that the car is capable of being in the low 10s range.

I always knew Mike was a "I live my life one quarter mile at a time" kind of guy.

Yep, it absolutely is. Did I also mention that the car was in full Time Attack trim? Full splitter, rear wing, open windows, -4 degrees of camber and some toe out? If they set this car up to drag race it would be quick!

***Nah, that's not true. You're just saying that because you don't know how to drive.

Um, Bonnie, the comment from Mike was especially funny because he is a past PAX Champion up here.

Bonster 2008-04-30 09:08 AM

Well, Kevin, that was kind of the joke behind my comment. Dang Internet . . . you can never tell when someone's goofing around. ;)

Kevin M 2008-04-30 09:20 AM

Ha! I suck at the internets today. :(

Man, the amount of drag that rear wing produces alone probably dropped you by half a second
