STi vs. GTO...
|
I can't believe you have not gotten any comments on this.
Interesting review, and some of teh editor comments at the end are fairly well on target. The demographics for these two are polar oposites with the possible exception of gender. OK, maybe not, but it shows that Aumsteralican car manufacturers are sort of getting a clue. It sounds like with a real suspension, and a decent shifter, the GTO might be a contender. |
I love my car :D

The GTO looks horrible in yellow. Now that I have that semi random comment out of the way I would just like to say that both cars are VERY well priced. They both will probably be competing with each other for years to come and they both have their markets. American muscle with all of its big engines vs enginering. I think that america is FINALLY starting to produce some half decent cars again and there actually might be some development wars which means we win in the end no matter what. The car market has been lacking for a long time.

Didn't GM and Ford just cancel all their new large RWD car programs? I'm not so sure we're gonna see the GTO around for long... no one's buying them.
|
I'm gonna buy a GTO at some point, I really like them. I'll buy a used one though. :p

Great Find JC.. I like the fact that they (sort of)pointed out that more HP doesnt always mean better numbers/better performance.. ;)
|
The new GTO is so just, ugh, generic looking. That was a good video though.

I actually like the GTO, altho honestly if i were in the market for a car in that price range, id probably pick up an EVO instead of either of those, just not a fan of the new styling on the STI i guess.
