Cory Davis(MPREZIV): BCT

I realized we do not have a review of Cory despite the bountiful praise we pour on him every time somebody asks...

He currently works at Nissan of Reno, but probably does as much Subaru work there as Nissan.

He is a long standing SECCS Member, Autocrosser and really good guy.

He has an awesome set of tools and the skills to use them

Able to mount the impossibly large tires on tiny rims, alignments to spec, engine/clutch swaps, regular maintenance.

Rates are reasonable for a dealership, and he is honest and will only do the work you need and charge you the hours it really takes and stands behind his work.

He has worked on my cars and trucks and I would not hesitate to take anything to him.

I think our community can sum up its feelings for Cory by pointing out that a couple of years ago, a number of SECCSers pitched in to buy him some shiny new autocross wheels as a gesture of appreciation.

+1 for Cory.

Probably the only person I trust to work on any of my cars without supervision. I know I can just drop it off for whatever and he'll sort it out... from swapping transmissions and differentials to changing the oil on my diesel truck.

Plus the shop rates at Nissan are pretty reasonable, especially for a dealer.

Glad to see this thread, this is exactly the type of post I came to this section of the forum to look for.
I'll be gong to see Cory soon for my timing belt as soon as I get all the parts together.
Will post my rating after.

Yeah, even though we all know Cory knows his stuff!, he truly is a great guy like Dean points out. Great asset to the community.

<== wants merger of KSTech and BCTuning.

k-dogg39 2010-03-16 03:42 PM

Another +1 for BCT here!

I took my car to Cory to get the door handles lowered, and he teabagged the steering wheel.

dknv 2010-03-16 05:45 PM

He goes to 11!

sybir 2010-03-16 06:39 PM

Cory has handled all of my used rubbers with the utmost care.

Tire mounting, that is

If only he was in the business of pooping in your car, you could have had the whole job taken care of in just one place!

Me three.

Just make sure your shop's big enough for me to rent a stall to park my racecar in. :P

Thanks guys! All of the referrals I get from this club and it's members are invaluable to me!

Ms Heatha 2010-03-19 07:04 AM

Point for Cory! Gettin' coilovers soon and Cory will definately see me shortly after for his famous alignments!

Jeikun 2010-03-19 07:49 AM

Sometimes, I think that Cory knows what's wrong with my car before I do. Almost like a creepy sixth sense without Bruce Willis.

It's one of those things that goes without saying for the people who know Cory, but for those that don't, this is the perfect thread. Cory is pretty much the man.

Easy, Turbo! He's got enough moonlighting opportunities as it is......

Cory definitely is the go-to around here - in another life I would try to start a shop with him too. Who knows, if the market for climate research and historical water availability dries up I may still try!

One more +1 for Cory. Just got some tires mounted and balanced by the man on short notice at lunch today. Thanks again!

AkRSguy 2010-03-19 04:20 PM

I already have jingles forming in my head for their commercial.

bigrobwoot 2010-03-19 05:52 PM

Cory is definitely a great guy. He's the kind of guy that will look at your girlfriend's car on his lunch break, and fix it for free.

WRX06TR 2010-03-19 07:07 PM

+eleventy billion for Cory! He's helped me with my car more times than I can count!
