So what happened to all the numbers from 2 weeks ago? Did nobody run their cars except Mike K? I thought Scott at least might, so he had some comparison numbers since EasyStreet never gave him anything...
Or is Mike the only one willing to post? And Eric, what ever happened to your original ones? Give me the full numbers, and I'll put them up... |
Im interested in this. How much does a dyno session cost? An hour or so... :?:

$85 for baseline dynoing. warmup + 3 pulls. wideband 02 logging for $25 extra. dyno tuning by Nate is $185 an hour. and he is very DSM literate. Currently works on a Galant ClubRally car and used to work on an Eclipse ClubRally car. I'll make sure he sees this link. |
Can somebody make this sticky? I hate having to look for it when it needs updating... Not sure it belongs in this forum, but it is a nice to have...

Fixed/ cleaned up first post...
Got to love those torque numbers Matt! |
So do you notice a significant increase in power? I bet its really nice. Maybe I should sell whats left of my soul to get more power. I'd love to have 300 to the wheels.
|
OMG The car hauls so much more ass now...wait til you see the power curve, it brings a tear to my eye just thinking about it...

Well I just got back.
My car is LOUD! So these are the numbers. A little heat soaked but still some good first numbers running at 17 psi. Name: Nick Sonder Car: 05 STI Mods: Ecutek reflash, Invidia turbo back Wheel HP: 257.1@5500 Wheel Torque: 277.3 @3750 Dyno: Mustang @ S-Squared Motorsports 12/10/04, 1:30 pm Very close to what I expected. We'll see how she learns. On a side note, no ported wastegate. Managed through engine management with no boost creep of fuel cut. It ran these numbers with an intercooler surface temp of 120F. Nate wanted to do one cool, but I had to run. I'm going to get a new baseline when I do the headers later this month. The torque feels absolutely insane. Got the car sideways on dry pavement with snow tires. Should make winter driving really fun or really scary. |
Wow! Those Torque numbers are insane. I thought my 250 was overkill,,,but damn!

This thread makes me sad. Sad that I don't have an STi. :(
And peak torque under 4000rpm!?!?! I *need* one of those motors! |
Damn, all these fast STIs.... Congrats... First post updated...
