sonicsuby 2005-03-20 01:47 PM

That was pretty funny to see. I felt bad for him though because he just spent all that time doing the wrong wheels

Weasel 22 2005-03-20 01:56 PM

another case of common info being lost on some..maybe they think it's a Probe..perhaps the place of purchase convinced them it was FWD..in any case funny shit..I would have waited to watch them get going and see how they faired.......

BOO 2005-03-20 01:59 PM

A FORD MUSTANG .. to boot.. lol

NevadaSTi 2005-03-20 02:31 PM

Wow,

Whats that saying? "Stupid people shouldn't breed."

tysonK 2005-03-20 02:32 PM

everything is wrong with that picture.

kidatari 2005-03-20 03:52 PM

I just wish there had actually been some snow on the road, so that we could watch the hilarity ensue.

sperry 2005-03-20 05:19 PM

I'm digging the SVT Cobra rims on a 6cyl mustang in addition to the chain retardation.

AtomicLabMonkey 2005-03-20 05:28 PM

I'm embarrased as a fellow Mustang owner.

soggynoodles 2005-03-20 05:30 PM

Ehhh? :P

You know, its not like the pavement is covered in snow. Thats the first clue as to, "I don't need chains."

Even my old 65 Mustang 289 wouldn't need chains in that condition. It was running 250 hp with a 3.8:1 rearend.

My 72 Ford Gran Torino wouldn't even have a problem, and its the worst thing I can think of for driving in the snow. I could spin out just by iddling down the street in that car.

Sometimes I hate the fact that I grew up in Tahoe and learned to drive in the snow in a 78 Ranchero 500. The first time I ever drove was in the snow. I get more scared in fog, then in snow. In the last 6 years, I had to chain up only one time. Not bad, eh.

sybir 2005-03-21 11:24 AM

That was through chain controls. As in, you're not getting past chain controls unless you have chains on the driven wheels ;)

Cobalt 2005-03-22 07:44 AM

Well, at least they put the chains on correctly.

NevadaSTi 2007-07-17 04:31 PM

I thought I would bump this thread as a current Mustang owner. I also decided that it would be nice to look at a 'cold' picture while it is hot outside. LOL.

I know the guy who took that picture in Nova Scotia last year, swear to God, Sybir is a hack!

That is actually very common. I've seen that only about a dozen times. I have never seen a douche bag like the guy driving the Black Mustang though.

We don't use chains in the Adirondacks.
