Goodbye Reno, Hello Las Vegas

Well, after a good 20 years here in Reno, I am moving on down to the dark side. Las Vegas.

I got offered a position with Allstate down there that was just to difficult to say no to. All my current clients can still reach me on my cell and I can still help them with their policies from down there. My actual new position will to be training new agents on how to run their business and operate their systems.

There will be a going away party so I can say goodbye to everyone. I am nervous as hell because I have never relocated for a job before. Especially to a city like Las Vegas where I don't know many people.

Its gonna be weird.

Wow, what a change. Good luck to you man.

Think of it as a paid vacation, then it's not so bad :)

And executed perfectly in this completely relevant case.

Nice job, scoring a position like that. I think training is a pretty good business to be in, lots to learn always, times just flies by.

what do you mean you don't know anyone down there?

Congrats! You'll be missed up here, but it sounds like a grand opportunity, best of luck there.

Moving to a new town is wierd. You just have to put more effort into "putting yourself out there" and you'll meet new peoples. Best of luck.

Codys right, there is no better way to meet new people then to put out ;)

You got it. So far my plan is to head out to Vegas on the 28th. I am only in Vegas for a week, then they fly me out to Chicago for a week for training. Its going to be a busy March.
