Pics of my WRX done by Ben @ Battle Born

So my WRX is finally running and "sort of" put together so Ben did a photoshoot of it. Yes it's missing a the front bumper.. Just deciding if I want to pay for paint on front bumper, rear bumper, and fenders and have it blended into the doors, OR just buy the vinyl wrap I want and have my buddy do the wrap and help him. Anyways, I'll post a mod list later once I put it together which will take some thinking and walking around the car. We went to tune it last night on E85 and ended up maxing out my 416lph fuel pump at 16psi and 413whp. I'm going to have to do a dual 400lph pump setup so that we can take the boost up to 25-27psi and HOPEFULLY get 500whp out of it. Car is running good, fast and fun for now though, so here's the pics!

Nice pics.

What color wrap would you do if you went that direction?

I was thinking of a Satin wine red. Or something like that. Then color of cage would be changing too.

Pictures turned out nice. Why didn't you do those Karlton fender flares?

I got rid of them because my 18x.10.5 RPF1's didnt clear the ENDLESS brakes and all the body shops that I talked to in town wanted $2k+ to install and paint the flares. I kind of like the brakes more since I got them for such a good deal so I sold the flares, wheels and tires and bought the gramlights.

I dig the Gram Lights. I also like the lack of flares. RPF1's and flares are great if your goal is lap times at the track... but for a nice looking street car, I think flares are just too much... unless you're extending the factory flares. Round flares tacked on top of the square factory blisters are just overkill IMO.

Plus, the color of those Gram Lights is just right on a WRB WRX. Blue > Red!

On a side note, what's up with the switch to the pusher fans on the radiator? Was that for any particular reason? How are you routing airflow through your FMIC/radiator stack?

Hey cool, we run the same width tires. :) Looks mean. Can't wait to see the finished product.

Switched to the push fans because the OEM pull fans kept getting in the way of my MAF tube because how my IC piping was built, it kept rubbing the fan shrouds and was pushing on the MAF sensor itself and was pinching the wire to the sensor. So I sold the oem ones and went and got 2 Permacool 10" 2,300cfm fans and then wired them each to their own switch inside the car.
