WTB one wheel for WRX - needed now

3 Attachment(s)
I hit a curb and dented one of my tires. I need a replacement because I don't feel comfortable driving too much until the replacement arrives this week. If anybody has one wheel (17" 5-100) I could buy or borrow, that would be great. Or would it be possible to fix the wheel?

Edit: I'm just going to keep the cracked wheel on the car since it's still keeping air in the tire. But doing as little driving as possible until I get a new one.

What kind of tire? I only need one temporary wheel/tire. Can I rent one?

Kumho Ecsta MX's...sorry I can't to rentals.

I have my stock 16 in. 5x100 tires that'll get you around until you can repair it, but I dunno if you'd want to run it because of diffs and such.

MXs? Why don't you just cut out the middle man and drive his car into a curb yourself?

Tomorrow I'm going to see if it is repairable (03wrxwagon recommended a guy). Also I'm going to find out exactly how long long it will take to ship a new wheel. I'm off Veteran's pkwy south reno. I'll pm you when I get some info. Thanks.

Yeah, I wish I could afford them as street wheels for the wagon.

I could sell you an Enkei RP02. 17X7.5" 5X100 +48. $100 if you keep it, but if you return it in the same condition as you got it (including the mounted RT615) I'll give you your money back.

Alternatively, I could sell you the whole set of six RP02's for $600. 4 have RE01R (summer tires) down to the wear bars though. Two have burnt out RT615's almost to the bars.

Just throwing it out there.

I don't think they will clear his OEM brakes?

Thanks for the offer to lend me your wheel. But now I think I will just stick with what I have now.

I just had Roger from Sierra Wheel Repair look at it and he said the only main concern was loss of air pressure. I told him the pressure hasn't changed since last Saturday and he said I should be OK driving around on it. I haven't noticed any change in driving and steering (at least under 45mph). But I'm going to get an alignment check after I get the new wheel. Roger said fixing it would cost $125 and the welding would be very noticeable.

Talk to alloy wheel repair. They are willing to do what Roger wont. They matched my hyperblack very well and I saw other wheels that they had done. I think they can fix your wheel.
