What do you know about that solenoid? I can't find anything on it on Nasioc, Cobb or IWSTI forums.

Here u go Dean. I bought it thinkin i need to replace mine but it turned out that my turbo and wastegate were shot. They dont let you return special orders.

I know it your boost control solenoid is shot it will stay closed and the wastegate will only allow 7-8 psi. People on cobb say they had to replace theres at around 65,000 to 70,000 miles. Pretty much just bleeds the boost line from the turbo into the intake. Turns out on mine it was turbo was overboosting making the fuel cut out, so i never installed it

Here is Cobb answer...

So it is just an OE replacement, not an upgraded one some people are putting on.

I know this might be a little late but do you still have the boost control solenoid? My boost has not left 7-8psi since I posted about it like 6 months ago.

Puns 2007-07-04 12:14 PM
