Rota Boosts, gunmetal, 17x8 +45, 5x114.3

I've got a set of Rota Boosts, gunmetal gray (or whatever Rota's calling their gray paint these days), in '05+ STi fitment (17"x8" +45 offset, 5x114.3 bolt pattern) that I don't really need for anything right now so I figure I'd see if anyone's in the market for 'em.

They've all got some nicks and scratches, but none of them are really too banged up. I'd rate them 7/10 to 8/10. They'd make a great set of winter or autox wheels for someone w/ an STi, and they'd look pretty nice on an SVX.

$300 OBO.

Pictures as soon as I take some.

Yeah. I'm going to have the opposite problem that EMO is having w/ those forged 5Zigens. People w/ STi's don't like cheap wheels almost as much as people w/ RS's don't like expensive wheels.

Either way, I'm just getting rid of them because they're taking up space in my garage. I don't really need to sell them, I just figured if someone else is in need they can have 'em for reasonably cheap. They're actually pretty nice looking wheels, but I've got a set of 17x9 FN01Rc's for my race tires, and STi BBS for street tires, and RPF1's for the SVX... all of which I like a lot better than the Boosts.

I dunno, maybe I'll get some 225/45/17 snow tires for 'em on the SVX instead of using the stock 16" wheels. I wonder what gray 6 spoke wheels would look like on a red SVX. :?:

I dunno, I had some similar bronze wheels on the SVX and didn't like them that much.

The car just looks better on something with thinner spokes. I think a set of '08 STi wheels would be awesome, or some OZ ultraleggeras maybe.

hmm its tempting. good price

Scott, these are my old wheels, right? They're actually the Rota bronze, if that helps.

These are awesome for snows or DD, or a cheap set of solid track wheels.

On an '05....

I don't think they're the same wheels... they look gray not bronze. But they are the wheels that I traded my A-techs (picture above) to Kevin for since the Rotas don't fit on Mazda 3's but the A-techs do. Did Kevin get the boosts from you?

I'll try to grab some pictures after work before I head off to the meet tonight.

BTW: if they were gold, I'd keep 'em. I love boosts in gold!

Yeah, same wheels, lol.

I wish you could rock 5x100, I still have a set of gold Boosts.

I've got a dremel. Let's just slot the holes!

But if those are the same wheels, then they are indeed bronze and not gray. They look pretty damn gray in person IMO... I'll try to take some pictures in bright sunlight... not that there will be much of in in my driveway at 5:30 tonight.
