2009 STi, low compression

I know this is a bit of a long shot, but here goes...
Hi all, I'm putting up my 2009 STi for sale, current mileage is at 52xxx. I put it up for sale on craigslist several weeks ago, but soon after I discovered a small puddle of oil under the intake. Surprise surprise, low compression on cylinder four. I'm making this post with the thought that someone might want to take care of the rebuild themselves :). If there is no interest within the next couple of weeks I'm going to take care of it and keep it for a while longer. I'm looking for 24000 OBO I can't stress OBO enough :). The car runs fine under normal driving, but if it sees a good amount of boost it will spit up a bit of oil. Car has been tuned by Mayhem Tuning here in Reno, and (used to) make 355whp on 91 oct and 20 psi.

Title in hand.

Nice car! I'm assuming that you have stock internals since you didn't list any aftermarket on the add.....If I was you I would just have the rebuild done and keep the car. Cory could rebuild it and re tune it and I would bet that you could do close to or over 400 whp with like 22-24 psi fairly conservatively on pump since you pretty much have all the supporting parts already......it's just would be sad to see the car go for that low of a price after all that money and work you put in for some other lucky person to just have to have the block rebuilt and a tune to have a really fast car haha

I had the car up for sale before it blew up. I'm done with it either way, it's just unfortunate that it went when it did. I'm really just looking to cut my losses at this point. I will most likely be ordering a basic short block next week, as no one really wants to buy a blown up car (shocking, I know).

We'll good luck to ya. Cory at Mayhem does good builds so if you are looking for someone give him a holler. He might be able to help you sell it as well cause he knows a lot of people in the Subaru and Evo community. Great job on the car for what it's worth, it looks great and has a lot of quality parts on it which shows you really put some time, thoughtfulness and effort into it.
