I just had a JC moment...
...and by "JC moment" I mean that I just did something totally irresponsible behind the wheel, but I'm cooler because of it. :P
I went through the drive-thru mail boxes at the S. Meadows post office to drop off some mail (SCCA membership renewal baby!) If you've been there, you know the exit is a right turn only into a turn-about. Right after the entrance to the turn-about, there's another exit from the post office. So as I enter the turn-about ande move to the inside left lane, some lady BLOWS through the stop sign as she's putting her seat belt on and careens right in front of me! I slam the brakes to keep from nailing her (I should just hit her, but w/ a seat belt I prolly woulda sent her through the passenger side window). Then I get all pissed off by her AWFUL driving that I floor it in 2nd, move to the outside lane, and in true JC style, proceed to drift by her on the outside. Snow tires + wet turn-about = easy tail-out action. I was past her in an instant, and I think I must have scared her into slamming on the brakes because by the time I was out of the turn-about she was still only half way through!? Stupid bad drivers. :x 1- put your seat belt on BEFORE you put the car in gear. 2- STOP at the goddamn stop signs... not "slow", not "blow through w/o looking", not "what stop sign? I was too busy putting my seat belt on" 3- enter a turn-about IN THE RIGHT LANE, then MOVE LEFT when there's no traffic, that's why there are 2 lanes! 4- Don't pass on the right in a turn-about while drifting your AWD turbo-charged car, it's less than safe. All this reminds me of my previous trip to the post office... the lady in front of me [i]went the wrong way[i] through that turn-about. What is it w/ US drivers and turn-abouts... no other countries seem to have issues, and they're *much* better for traffic flow and saftey than intersections... assuming people don't drive like Americans. |
Hahaha! Maybe its just that neighborhood? Remember the Stupid Suburban that tried to block you that night? Hahaha...He was surprised to see the side of my car come across his hood at that left turn...I do not condone such actions, but goddam! People suck Hhahaa
|
yah American drivers suck........never fells a woman doing somthing foolish and a man right there to point it out

I will refrain from saying anything :)

As i was dirving to work today on the snow coverd Stead Blvd, some guy was 2 fucking feet off my bumper the whole way until I turned into work. I admit I was going extra slow b/c I did not have my RE92's on  But sill the guy was a freaking retard everyoine in the other lanes was leaving at least 4 car lengths between!

What is it with people and stop signs? Most people don't come to a complete stop. A cop was buzzing around the Double Diamond neighborhood a few days ago, handing out dozens of tickets to people not stopping at a certain intersection, the one in the middle of the neighborhood at the park.
Many people must think the stop sign means "slow down" or "take your foot off the gas pedal." This practice is really dangerous when they almost take you out at an intersection. Idiots! Franz |
Driving to lunch today, I had some dumb-ass kid in a Red F150 trying to impress his friends in the truck with him by taking every corner way to fast and swirving hard on purpose. He almost hit me and 2 other people because he was being stupid. I wanted to follow him and kick his ass for being a dolt. Hopefully he will learn his lesson without injuring someone else.
