Thunderhill

Anyone going to Thunderhill over May 1st-2nd? I'll probably be there for the American Iron race as part of my new job.

So far that's the weekend we were leaning towards for the SECCS Track School at Reno-Fernley.... but I've been too sick lately to work on planning that, so I'm not 100% sure it will happen.

Who's the sponsoring body for AI events? Is that NASA? NASA's HPDE's aren't usually recomended for 1st time drivers, since there's very little instruction.

I'm off to Thunderhill in the morning to go learn about flagging.

Everyone going to Buttonwillow this weekend, have fun, be safe.

Have a good time Debbie, I decided to skip T-Hill and focus on my Buttonwillow trip...let us know how it goes.

Wishing some of you guys could have been here this weekend. The weather is perfect, its supposed to be in the 80's tomorrow. Big rigs & race teams and hospitality tents and motorhomes have packed the entire paddock area from end to end.

Besides the porsches and mazdas and mustangs there are cars here I've never seen before, only read about in magazines. We've got Reno scca members working in the hot pits, tech, tow crew, flagging & comm, and timing & scoring. I'll find out tomorrow where I'll be stationed.

More later, after I return.
