Cliffs notes:
Lower voting age to 14.
14 and 15 year olds get 1/4 of a vote per issue.
16 and 17 year olds get 1/2 a vote.

Err... I don't even know what to think. At 14, I would have loved to vote. Now, I think there is no way I want 14 years olds voting.

I'm sorry but I didn't think about voting when I was 14, I was only thinking about cars and girls. :twisted:

Here's a novel idea, leave voting to the adults. When you pay taxes, and are eligible to die for this country, then you vote. Until then do what your parents tell you and shut up. Now the only thing we need to do is get some smarter parents.

They've got the wrong answer here.

They have low voter turn out. And it's safe to say that more than a few of those who do vote are probably a bit uninformed on the initiatives/official for which they vote. So to solve the problem, we'll give partial voting rights to a bunch of kids who will likely be REALLY uninformed!!!

If they do let the kids vote the Democratic vote should also be reduced to compinsate for all the kids voting on what thier parents tell them.........ohhh wait its Cali they need all the help they can get!!!!! Just goes to show no matter how bad Rep. G.W. Bush does in the White House Dem. Grey Davis did worse with a single state then all the presidents of the past with the whole country.....

I have a novel idea. If you pay income tax, you can vote. If not, you can't.

It's probably too late for this to really save our original government setup, but it couldn't hurt.
