Meet ideas? Or just wait......

Does anyone want to do a meet again before auto-x season? Just curious.

Well howa bout this weekend for those that are interested?

Plus I need some new pics of my grill and emblem! :D

I'll be at Stead on Sat. for test & tune, and Sunday for the AutoX school.

I'll probably be there all day, both days. We've got a new computerized timing system we're getting up & running, and I'm going to be working with some people to get the registration process figured out as part of the new system.

Who's coming out?

ArthurS 2003-03-31 11:51 AM

Sounds good. Thats this weekend? If so, then we can all just meet out there. Maybe just make a big caravan run :)

ArthurS 2003-03-31 03:55 PM

What exaclty happens at the Test and Tune and Driver's school this Saturday and Sunday. Does it cost anything? Thanks in advance.

dknv 2003-03-31 06:08 PM

Here's what I know so far about this weekend; I'll get the whole scoop at the club meeting on Wed. (Btw, the monthly club meetings are at Austin's at the south end of Reno, anyone is welcome. If you want to order food, show up by 6pm, no food, be there by 6:30. We're in the back room.)

Normal entry fee for Saturday, but I think it is for the entire day ($20 member, $30 non-member). 3 run groups in the morning, 3 in the afternoon; work 1 run group, run 2 run groups. There will be a course and a separate skid pad. You can run continuously, or switch between the course & the skid pad, or tune your vehicle out in the pits and return after making changes.

The Sunday school will use the same course, with a slalom in the morning, and a straight in its place for the afternoon. Sunday school probably has a separate entry fee of $20/$30.

ZER026D 2003-03-31 06:14 PM

I'll be there no matter what even though I have to get my wisdom teeth out on thursday.

ArthurS 2003-03-31 06:27 PM

Ill probably be there Saturday, not sure about Sunday.

BOO 2003-04-02 06:26 PM

Hey guys its me.. remember me?? :P ..lol.. anyhow i am sorry i havent been able to keep up with you guys lately. because of school ... anyhow .. i just read something about a MEET??? coolness Dudes !! Is there anyone that can let me know either way if you guys are meeting and where so that i too may come , that is if it's still ok with you guys since i officially dont own a subie...
Reason why I would like to come is besides the fact that you guys are a blast to hang with .. (OK enough ass kissing  lol j/k ) ... but so that I can catch up on what you guys have been upto.. :)
Thanks again

ArthurS 2003-04-02 06:40 PM

This Saturday at 7 AM at Krispy Kream. We are meeting there first then caravaning out to the Stead airport.

BOO 2003-04-02 06:55 PM

SWEEEET !! but I have to ask this stupid question.... which krispy Kremes???????

ArthurS 2003-04-02 07:38 PM

I think there is only one.....the one off McCarren near the mall. I will need a crack-laced donut and some coffee to stay awake at 7 AM.

BOO 2003-04-02 07:40 PM

 you and me both bro .. lol

sperry 2003-04-02 08:29 PM

Yeah, meeting at 7am is gonna be tough on the sleep schedule... but we'd love to see ya show up Sergio!! We're gonna grab some donuts and caravan out to Stead Airport for the SCCA autocross (it's training / tech day).

You sold the Supra, right? :( If not bring it out there!! (Hopefully there won't be rain or snow... it's April for crissake)

BOO 2003-04-02 09:22 PM

YEAH SOLD THE SUPRA .... :( But I will be there :) with my Jetta.. lol.. Hey You know I Found a guy who has the same car I do, auto-x his 1.8T Jetta .. I actually have some pics and it looks sweet ....

dknv 2003-04-03 09:38 AM

Saturday may be the best price deal we'll have all year in autox - as long as you get there & tech & register before the morning meeting, you'll be able to run all day for one price ($20/$30). The event chair is planning on 3 run groups in a.m., and 3 in the afternoon, you'll work the course for 1 of the 3, and have seat time for the other 2. He's planning on 50 minute run groups.
Praying for good weather.....
