Looking for nice cars, want to help?
 

I'm in school right now for journalism and photography with the intention of one day becoming an automotive journalist. I had spoken to several reps from some of my favorite magazines (sport compact car, modified, ect) about an internship. When I spoke to them I was fresh out of high school so of course they told me to get some college under my belt and put together a portfolio. This is where you guys come in.

I am looking for some nice, clean, modified cars to take pictures of and write short articles on. Im not asking much but if you have one or know of one, let me know. Ive been looking for nice spots to take pictures in the area so when I do finally get some takers, Ill be ready. I know you guys have nice cars so if you dont mind me taking some of your time, I would love to use your cars. Also, does anyone know if they guy with the EVO 7 is going to be at the next meet? I really want to talk to him and see if I could shoot his car.

I think in the next couple of meets we wanted to get some "nice" group shots of some of the cars together.

We wanted to get some with Reno in the background. Possibly on top of a downtown casino and get some flashy neon downtown lights in the background also.

Why don't you write up all of our cars and put it together for your portfolio? Get some photography of the cars as a group, and individually, with some different photo environments, especially at dusk (all the best photography happens at sundown). I'm definitely up for letting you write up and photograph my car whenever you have time.

I would love to set up a nice group shot, maybe I could even do an article on the club? Ill bring my camera and some ideas to the meet on Thursday. Thanks for the replys so far, keep them coming.

yea that car is clean besides that the side skirts are a differnt color yellow then the car.

and what about pooveys's supra? it looks sooooooo nice, to bad it runs like shit. i guess now that he has dumped all this money into it, it is slower then it was when it was stock.
