so how come...

...no one has converted a new wagon to an STi?

...I have not seen a preview for http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0402399/ by Terrence Malick one of my favorite directors yet?

...I have not bought a good album in like four months?

...I like the amazing race http://www.cbs.com/primetime/amazing_race5/ so much?

...even adventure books seem boring when I read them at work?

...while doors may open for you they often lead to large confusing rooms?

please answer^

detailed creative responses needed all other will be deleted.

thank you

Because they are stupid. Because they are stupid. Because they are stupid. Because they are stupid. Because they are stupid. Because they are stupid.

All answers depend on your definition of "they" in each scenario.

Some have done look a-likes, but the actual drivetrain would be very expensive. Especially since you can get a FXT or LGT instead.

Because it's in pre-production.

You are confused easily or you have poor taste in which doors to go through.

So, back to the 'good album' question, what kind of music do you listen to?
I know we've got electro/techno, industrial(?), emo, indie... anything else?

Actually, come to think of it, all the albums I've bought recently (and enjoyed) were back cataloge stuff I've been meaning to get for ages, not many new CDs.

tysonK 2004-08-02 09:36 PM

nick it seems we like the same kind of music..

we should mix come cds for each other...
of current stuff we like

tysonK 2004-08-02 09:37 PM

JC, some if not all the questions are rhetorical.

pre-production..bah

Nick Koan 2004-08-02 09:38 PM

sure. do you listen to any rap?

it may take me a little bit before I get settled though.

tysonK 2004-08-02 09:41 PM

yah, well, some,

I just bought this: Insanely long link

I thought it was ok.

Nick Koan 2004-08-02 09:42 PM

cool.

its a taboo genre with some people, so I didn't know if I should restrain myself or not. (I really only consider that album so-so, never bought it myself).

tysonK 2004-08-02 09:48 PM

well I always thought it was kinda like there is Bone Thugs in Harmony, 50 cent, Puff Daddy..and all that.

Then there is all the other rap.

tysonK 2004-08-02 09:49 PM

and I don't have wicked ass stereo in my car like I used to in hi-school, so I can't bring tha pain like I might have back in the day.

tysonK 2004-08-02 09:50 PM

MattR 2004-08-02 09:52 PM

What the hell is going on here?

Just an update, my car is too loud...I followed Scott while he drove it, and it's just plain rediculous..

OKay... I know you're not huge in to electronic, but Sasha's new album Involver is just fuckin sweet!. Smooth stuff man...I would recommend it. You can listen to mine if you want.

I haven't seen a lot of good albums lately, lots of cool singles, just not any albums worth dropping all that $ on...Your taste in music is quite different than mine, but we do have some overlap. I almost bought the new DCFC album yesterday, but skipped it because I already had 3 new CD's. I may get it still.

Nope. Rip that STi apart and put its guts in a real chassis! :P
Was that trash-talk? :?

I think an '05 wagon (gotta have the new interior), with a full STi swap (engine, tranny, hubs, brakes, suspension, and the wider fenders ), a mild exhaust, VF22, and maybe a rear swaybar, would be the ultimate daily driver.

You'd have a decent looking car (not quite as nice as older wagons, but still not bad) with a sunroof, heated seats/mirrors, nice interior, tons of space, with STi performance. The only thing that irks me about the wagon is the lack of fender flares.... they would look soooo much better if they had a bit of wide-body to 'em like the Audi RS6 wagon, for example.

So, I'd totally roll an STi converted wagon as my daily driver / winter beater, as long as I had a Porsche Turbo for the weekends.
