New parts for the Evo
Hey guys, My brother and I just got back from GB and thankfully, the trip went well. (safe) Anyway, as suspected all of the parts that were going to be installed on our cars weren't there.
Here's the install list. Black wrx with hawaii plates: Stoptech BBK (black caliper and slotted rotors) Black Evo with Tint: Tein Flex coilovers Helix downpipe and cat delete pipe Borla catback Defi VSD unit + boost gauge SBC ID III boost controller Perrin Short Shifter Blitz BOV Quite suprisingly, the turboback exhaust on the evo (even without any E-Manage) produces a very noticable amount of power (at under stock boost levels) What was more suprising, was that my gas mileage hasn't changed much at all!!! On a "subaru" note.. (since this IS a SUBARU board) The stoptech BBK solved ryan's brake shaking problem. (his left front rotor was visibly WARPED). Anyway, the stoptechs look awesome and have almost NO clearance under the rim. (i think it rivals the STI) see you all thursday! |
Sounds awesome! I really need a set of StopTechs too.... soon enough (assuming I don't buy an STi...)
Hey now that you guys are back in town, you wanna sneak into the track day? We had a bunch of cancellations and could use the headcount... plus I know we all want to see those beasts out on the track! |
Wow...nice new mods!
|
haha yeah, we're really excited to get them out on the track!! that'd be awesome..
Although it's sad to say, the beast is not in the car... it's in the person who drives it. :( we'll have to work on that. :D |
