wrx parts i got

ok ive posted some of these items before, but ill do it again.....as some know i got some new brakes and would like to sell my perrin 4 pot fronts. they fit on the stock rotors and use the stock mounting brackets. they work pretty good for pretty cheap and they look alright. they sell for 700 new and im willing to sell them for 350. they have about 50% pad life left but i can get new pads if you wish. i have only run them on my car for 6 months. they come with stainless steel lines. they fit on all wrxs and rs's.

i also have a set of front discs made by disc brakes australia. unfortunately the front left is warped and shakes quite a bit. someone can try and "unwarp" them and take them off my hands for 100 for both. they right is just fine.

i also have a AVO top mount intercooler(its about 2 X stock) with hoses. would sell for 400 or best offer.

i have a turbo xs boost controler(the lowest model one) make an offer id pretty much take anything(not one dollar!)

i also have a blitz dual sbc spec R electronic boost controler. its brand new and never used. would sell for 275(retail for 475about)

thats about it unless someone wants some stock rims. let me know.

I think Brandon (U53D) might be interested in the stock wheels.

How did you like the Perrin's?

pretty big difference?

I guess these would be similar to the "WRX" 4 pots

Kevin M 2004-08-25 08:54 PM

Are these the older version of the Perrin/Wilwoods or the new? The old ones have some issues with the caliper flexing, although Sybir is pretty happy with his.

4 pots are better IMO. You can't go wrong for $350 though. I would have bought them if they had been for sale when I got my 4 pots or I had known the price I should say.

they are the newest ones made by perrin only not willwood& perrin. supposedly they got rid of the flex. they definitly were better, but not close to as good as the stoptechs im running now....but for 350 you cant go wrong

No, the price is definitely right.

tysonK 2004-08-25 09:22 PM

so tempting

Dean 2004-08-25 09:27 PM

Assuming the Dual SBC is the right one, I'll take it for the Stealth... throw the TurboXS one in...

ryan4601 2004-08-25 09:30 PM

Cool. Just checked, that's the right DSBC... I'll see you there...

sybir 2004-08-26 05:00 AM

The new Perrins are pretty sweet, it's what we're running on the coupe. No flex issues, just a master cylinder issue to sort out because we put them in a 1.8 liter with Legacy Turbo rear brakes, and the pedal is totally solid......

Not very blingin', but they should work fine.
I have the old wilwoods, and while they're a little flexy, they stop on a dime and give me 9 cents change.....

Evo Mike 2004-08-26 06:55 AM

  9 cents change... cracks me up

What do you want for the stock rims, and what kind of condition are they in?

ryan4601 2004-08-27 06:37 AM

id give up my stockers for 200?(dont really know what a fair price is on these). they are in pretty good condition. one of the rims is curbed a little on the edge, but no denting or major damage. no tires....but the rims have been in plastic bags for 8 months. let me know. if you want i can meet you somewhere and you can take a look at them before you buy them.
