Didn't you already order those? Or did I forget to send you the link?

U53D 2004-08-26 02:46 PM

no, i already ordered them, but that was for my exhaust wasn't it?

Kevin M 2004-08-26 02:50 PM

It was for both. You may actually not need a gasket for the catback. they should give you the one that goes between the muffler and midpipe, and the graphite donut between the cat and the midpipe can actually be reused many times. It's the front three gaskets that are the concern.

U53D 2004-08-26 02:53 PM

okay, ill pm you what i got just to make sure

U53D 2004-08-26 02:55 PM

nope, your right, i got everything i need :D

JC 2004-08-26 03:14 PM

So they are gonna be in by the meet?

Kevin M 2004-08-26 03:17 PM

Haha, I was gonna offer to install them... but his car sounds ricer enough with the intake. We'd ban him if he puts Borlas on now with no catback. :P

JC 2004-08-26 03:20 PM

I dunno never heard them with a stock exhaust. Probably sounds fine.

No, I made the mistake of putting on headers before getting a catback. Sounds like ass, because you still can't hear the exhaust note but now you can hear all the exhaust pulses bouncing off the primaries. Sounds poopy.

U53D 2004-08-26 03:30 PM

yea, i still havent recieved the gaskets yet, otherwise id make you install them

ya but he has a diff stock exhaust

Kevin M 2004-08-26 03:37 PM

The exhaust still needs to be loud enough to kill the flatulent sound of the exhaust impulses in the primaries. His isn't.

That would make entirely too much sense....
