Professional Thunderhill Pics!

A company set up some shots and took some nice pictures. Scott and I bought a CD burned with all of them here are a few!

Yah! Thunderhill friggin rocked by the way. It was such a completely different rack then Fernley I was getting to learn my car all over agina b/c of the different turns and elevation changes Turn 5! Dean look I'm using the whole track in picture 4! I can't wait to go back and hopefully more SECCS and Sac people will be there! All in all I give the track Tyson's Seal of Approval!

Very nice pictures. I've said it before, and I'll say it agian, I love your car. I too have done a track day at Thunder Hill when I was 17, and I would love to go back. I'm glad you had fun.

I hadn't even noticed. How perfectly fitting. I get labeled just because one girl lifted a little too much. :P

tysonK 2004-10-05 09:44 PM

This Friday night it looks like right before autocross in the Morning of course!

8) That's how to do it. Where's the auto-x this weekend?

MattR 2004-10-05 09:47 PM

Wow!!! Scott has to get his hubs rebuilt...

Tyson and Eric have to install Coilovers

Mike H is going nuts with all his new goodies...

Damn...SECCS is helping to turn the economy around!

JC 2004-10-05 09:49 PM

Awesome pics tyson! I'm jealous

dknv 2004-10-06 07:22 AM

Awesome pics, Tyson. T-hill is a blast, I know I could really push harder there without alot of worries of hitting a wall or something hard.
(I survived a spin in the mud on T3, )

Did you guys hear anything about the accident there, from the Fri. before?

sonicsuby 2004-10-06 08:09 AM

Nice pics, man. Next time we go out there I'm going to try and get a better place to take pictures. Maybe I'll be able to get some high quality pics and you guys won't get charged :|

The guys taking the pics were sort of snobby and it kind of pissed me off. I asked one of the guys what they were shooting with and they said a 10D and a MKII. I said I had wanted a Digital Rebel for a while and the guy goes "Yeah, the DReb is a good camera I guess, for consumers". He must not have realized the DReb and 10D are the same body with different firmware.

I chatted with the guys a bit too. They seemed less snobby than 99% of the camera snobs out there. For some reason, once you start making money with a camera, you somehow know everything there is to know about them, and of course there's no way a camera that costs under $2000 could possibly take a picture worth dick. These guys weren't that bad.

Matt, you need to post up your pictures somewhere. Or zip 'em and email them to my gmail account and I'll put 'em in our gallery: thedoink@gmail.com

Back on topic: Tyson, you got some great shots! I didn't get quite as many good ones, but it's still cool to get some pics of the car on course in various turns.
