I'm down with that.

Are the Sox going to sweep this one?

I can't believe the won the first two games with 4 errors. Good for them.

Oh hell yeah! :D I take back my orginal statement of cardinals win with 5 games. (of course I already lost that one.) It'd be too cool to see the Sox sweep the series even with all Manny Ramirez's mistakes.

Dean 2004-10-27 02:25 PM

dknv 2004-10-27 02:40 PM

I'm watching the eclipse and looking for a broomstick

I'll be watching the Sox lose the 1st of 4 straight World Series games, becoming the 1st team to win when down 0-3 and the second team to lose when up 3-0, and the only team to lose 5 world series in game 7.

The Curse is still in effecct tonight... esp. w/ all the creepy moon stuff going on. I'll only believe that the Curse is gone when I see the Sox celebrating.

To be honest, I really didn't think it was going to happen. At least not so easily. The defineing series of this season was certainly the ALCS. After the comeback against the Yankees, the World Series was a cake walk.

Congrats to the Sox.... they certainly paid their dues over the years, and certainly earned their WS victory. An amazing series against the Yankees, followed by a dominant sweep of the Cards.

Next year.... go Cubs! (We need to get them all wins before the pending appocalypse.)

No coverage of So Taguchi playing for St. Louis eh? Japanese media doesn't seem to care much about Japanese-born players if they aren't making the All-Star team.
