Then I leave Reno tomorrow afternoon, head for LAX. My flight leaves LAX for Aukland around 9 PM. That will be a weird flight...

Hey Guys///I'm in Lake Taupo NZ right now...Frickin awesome place...It's sunday afternoon, and we're heading to the southern coast now.. I'm driving a Holden Commodore...Pretty sweet ride for a big sedan.

Anyway, I love Aukland, looking forward to returning on the way home later this week. I'm pretty much driving all around the north island...What better vacation than touring a foreign place by car? There are so many bad-ass cars here...STI's, Skyline's Silvias, Evos...and Ford Falcons are hot.

Anyway, gotta run, I'll check in with some pics soon...

Matt, your New Zealand scavenger mission is to:

1) find a chick that ownes an AWD turbo car... Skyline, WRX, etc all count.

2) post picks of her and her car

3) get her to let you drive it

4) get pics of you breaking 150kph in her car

If you can accomplish you mission, the SECCS crew will have something waiting for you when you get back. ;)

If he can do all that, he should marry her, and stay there! :D

Today, I'm in Hawke's Bay (Hastings, to be exact) Wine country on the eastern sea side...heading towards Weliington tommorrow...I'm gonna spend a day there. Then I'm heading to the South Island, ChristChurch for starters. (Is anyone mapping this 8) )...I need to find a better car though...I need a Ford Falcon, these things are sick. I have some cool pictures so fa, but the internet cafe has a limit on downloads...I'll find somewhere at some point.

I'm a RHD maniac now, I've adjusted completely..and I'm doing all the driving, as usual... I have a feeling I will crash my STi when I get home, unless someone can drive me around for a few days. :lol:

Anyway...I really like New Zealand....I've had a very random and enjoyable time so far. So far, we've done a lot of stuff my dad wanted to do..Wine Tours, etc (Snooze) ...In wellington, I call the shots..Hello Bungees and a faster car...

Hello Again all....My quest to see all of New Zealand is still going strong...Today I arrived in ChristChurch...The largest city on the south island. This is my new favorite place so far. I rode a ferry (No comments) across to the south island, and got a new better Red Holden Commodore. The drive from the top of the island took about 6 hours, the road is awesome, wish I had a sports car. In fact, I'm noticing that all the roads here are winding, banked race tracks...That's why everyone has such bad ass cars.

Anyway. ChristChurch is a cool as city. Its a big Metro area, much better than the boring wine country. Lots going on. I'm sitting in an Internet cafe now, I'm going to buy some music soon, and wander around this town for a few hours. I'm gonna meet up with my dad for dinner later, but now I'm off to start my "Scavenger hunt" :twisted:

Mike K.... What the F is Vegamite? Yuck :? How can people eat that stuff. It's on every table when I have breakfast, so I tried it and almost died...OMG? I'm definately bringing some home for you guys to try.

Anyway, I hear there's snow in reno? Sweet. Looking forward to getting home. I'm working my way back up to Aukland again. Wellington was great. I can;t believe how many bad ass cars there are here. I will have to wait until I get home to post pictures though. No luck here at the old internet cafe.
