Is it in good condition? Is there really a large benifit to have the front sway adjustable or is a non-adjustable just as good.

There is some chipped paint on the bar but functionally I believe it is perfect. An adjustable bar would be useful in a situation where you have adjusted tire pressures and shock settings to an extreme and the car is still under or over steering at which time an adjustable bar might relieve that if the bar was not already adjusted to the max in the desired direction. This bar will reduce body roll during cornering and thus reduces the resulting positive camber that comes with roll. Normal wisdom states that adding a stiff front bar without adding a stiff rear bar increases understeer but I think in the case of a stock WRX which goes so far into positive camber during body roll that a stiff front bar does not worsen the condition but actually helps.

Art you really need to ask yourself if your going to keep your car

If you're going to be competing with the car and want to really dial in the handling balance to get faster lap times, then an adjustable bar is a good thing. If you're only driving it on the street and just want a sportier feel with a bit less body roll, then you probably don't need an adjustable bar.

I'm kind of over adjustable sway bars. The only really good selling point about them to me is that you might not know exactly how stiff you want your bar when you buy it, and the adjustable gives you 2 or 3 bars in one. That said, I haven't adjusted my 20-24 Whiteline RSB ecept one time, going from 22-24 when I put the heavy duty mounts on. 22mm is a pretty good size for the front bar on an Impreza.

cliff notes: Somebody buy this from John, don't make him wait around, it's a great deal. I would, but I'm holding out for my coilovers and F/R 27mm XRD bars from Whiteline.

I don't think John checks the board very often. You might want to try and give him a phone call. I believe his number is on the Reno SCCA website.

Thanks. 8)
