WTH? SECCS= Dead

Where is everyone today...I need some entertainment.. I keep looking up from my work, only to find no one has anything going on...

Yeah... my day's been reduced to NASIOC OT and actually working!!?!?

...this sucks.

So, how about we figure out where this week's meet is gonna be?

Yeah its been dead for the last two days.
As for a meet location I say back to C&C even though it's kind of expensive or we could go to sparky's at galena. I could call and find out if they have anything going on.

That's a great idea. I would like to here some suggestions..

I'd like to move to somwhere other than Sparky's at some point, but it's okay short term...However, after last week at Longley, i don'tt have much faith in the safety at that lot.

sperry 2004-12-14 01:03 PM

Sparky's is the definition of mediocre, and the lot is unsafe. C&C blows goats as well (service and food are better elsewhere IMO). Bully's at the mall is way too crowded during the holidays.

I think we should pool our money, buy a race shop and have Thursday night pizza meets every week at the shop.

MattR 2004-12-14 01:07 PM

Hmm...great idea, not sure how to pull that one off though...

? --> profit ---> race shop.

Actually, I don't think it would be that expensive... figure $0.80/sqft/month... that makes a 1000 sqft shop is only $800/mo. Get 8 people to chip in... that's only $100/month for our own shop.

All we have to do is find a 1000sqft industrial rental that allows auto repair on the premises.

MattR 2004-12-14 01:14 PM

Ok.

I dunno that a real restaurant is a good idea... we'd need to walk in and say somthing like: "table for 15 to 22 depending on who shows up in the next 20 minutes".

I suppose that is a good point. I coundn't figure out why we hadn't tried that yet. SRIC meets at restaurants. Of course they wait to find out how many people are coming. hhhmm I'll keep looking.

Kevin M 2004-12-14 01:36 PM

Scott@S-S had the right idea. We should move the meet to that diner in Buttonwillow. :)

Not sit down restaurants. Places like Round table and Pizza Pucks, where you don't have to worry about getting a table.

Dean 2004-12-14 01:37 PM

I vote C&C until after the holidays, but would settle for 4th & McCarren Sparky's.

That Round table down in Double Diamond doesn't have that buffet out for dinner do they? I would be down with that, and we could take over their party room...

Oh. Scott's stomach doesn't like those kind of places.

Unfortunately, the buffet ends at 3pm IIRC. However, taking over a pizza place isn't such a bad idea. That's what they do at the Sac meets a lot of the time... People group up in teams of 3 or 4 and get their own pizza, and it works out to be around $10 each.

That's the 1st new idea for a meet location that interests me since Bully's at the mall was suggested!

qksubi 2004-12-14 01:40 PM

No buffet at dinner only lunch and that place is a mad house every night I have yet eat at that round table

Scott's stomach is a wuss!

The real question is, is Scott's stomach comfortable being referenced in the third person?

qksubi 2004-12-14 01:41 PM

I can call Pj's again

And that only took one google search and some pointin' and clickin'. I'd be in at ~$100 a month for our own commercial space. Somebody investigate this further. :P

Hey Scott,
So what ever happened to you inventing a rock, paper, scissor computer game?

They need to download your thought processes so their game engine is sufficiently random. :P
