Healthy Choice Frozen meals = Bachelor Chow

So lately, I'm living off of meet food and these frozen dinners. They're damn good, come in sufficient variety, and the fact that they're either $1.76 or $2.18 apiece at Walmart explains why Eric keeps sighting me there. It's nice to save $3-4 a pop by not going to a drive through for food that didn't take any effort to make and doesn't totally suck. Anybody else living off of similar food type substances?

My doctor said my liver can't survive more than 3 more of those meals.

Kevin M 2004-12-16 01:44 PM

Liver? Why? The only bad thing about them is the salt content.

Okay...

My doctor said I'd have kidney failure if I ate those meals for another 2 weeks.

...the point is that those meals aren't really any better for you than fast food, and after a few days of eating them you'll be tired of the "sufficient variety" just like you're tired of the fast food menus. They are a little cheaper though.

I buy a crap load of tv dinners for work.

I didn't say they were healthy. Or even healthiER. I just said they're good and they're cheap and I intend to subsist on them for a while. :P

hmmm....I'm *smack* eating corn dogs right now.......mmgggh......they're the staple of life *slurp*.....almost as good as cheese whiz and triscuits....

tysonK 2004-12-16 08:20 PM

pfft you think that's cheap..

last week I did the tuna sandwich killer meal deal,,,like a $1 a meal.

the week before that I tried a package of buns fo a 1.78 and a container or BBQ meat for 3.99 that lasted me a week of dinners...

ha ha.

this excludes drink which can range from 1 to 2 dollars depending on thirst arrangements.

I could totally survive on an island eating the same thing a lot!
