My phone is not working, in or out, cannot be located? Everyone else here is in the same boat,,what is up? The 2 way works fine, just no cell. Can someone else test their phone and see what is up.

Mine works. Last time I was at Eric's house though I had to reset it before it would work. Dunno why.

Yeah the 2 way is fine, just no cell service, Eric just stopped by and his is doing the same thing...Weird.

No, it has signal, full bars, but when you try to call, it just keep trying to redial and never connecting...Also, incoming calls are going straight to voicemail...We called our service line, they said they are looking into the problem.

Somebody at Nextel had to run over to SBC and pay the bill so SBC would turn Dial Tone back on for their towers... :D

Yeah, its working now...Weird...

It does that when it can't find a Nextel tower. If you turn it off for 15sec or something it looks again, which usually works. The tower must have been down.

Last tuesday my phone wasn't working at all. not bars or shit. I finally got the idea to turn it off then back on which fixed it.

Verizon actually has two-way with other Verizon customers (with supported phones and plans).

We tried it, it sucks compared to nextel's 2-way. But Verizon has better coverage for normal calls and again got top rating from Consumers Reports.

Unless you are in construction though, 2-way is for IMing teeny boppers. Adults make real phone calls so they can interupt, and talk over each other, Biotch. :)

Affraid not...2ways allow you to keep conversations short, concise and free of random ass bullshit...unless you so desire..

Just f'ing with you. I'd proably have a Nextel if my company didn't pay for my phone...

Cingular is rated tops in this market by lots of people. They now offer free cell to cell. Most of my calls are to my wife and many of my friends have cingular as well. It works for me.

I wasn't impressed with the out of town coverage, or lack thereof, that Nextel "offers."
