do they have to be (try to be) funny

what about a powerful dramatic commercial. It's getting old waiting for the average to not funny punchline.

The FedEx one was kinda funny. And Michael Caine as alfred is going to be cool. Can't wait for the new Batman. (and when was the last time anybody said that?)

Way better than the ghey Mustang GT 'vert commercial they showed like 6 times. I really liked the tunnel/gunbarrel one.
