FYI American Iron and Camaro-Mustang Challenge will be racing at Sears Point on 4/9-4/10, for anyone interested in seeing the show. 8)

Hey Austin,
infineon doesn't show any ticket prices, is admission to AI events still free? I think It would be cool to come check out the race.

As far as I know it's still free to get in; the last time I went to this event as a spectator was 2003 and I didn't have to pay anything. If there is an entry fee though it'll be the track people charging probably $10-15 at the gate, there aren't any advance ticket sales for NASA weekends.

Unfortunately this trip is now cancelled for us. The AI race is still happening, but the MM team will not be going up; the driver we lined up had scheduling problems that couldn't be resolved.

I'll drive.

'Cmon man, I've got all kinds of experience in an Audi R8 at that track. I figure the difference between an ALMS P1 car and an AI Mustang will cancel out the fact that the R8 is in Gran Tourismo 4 and the Mustang is in reality, right?

Reality v5.0.

Call Gary, he lives in Martinez.

And despite his success in AWD cars, he told me he like RWD a lot more. I think he used to race a Spec Miata.

I've got his cell phone number if you're interested.

Actually we wanted to use the weekend primarily as a test for a new component, which would have been a back to back test if Dave drove again; since he can't drive, it pretty much spoils the test so it's not worth it for us to go up.

So take the component in question off, put on the old one, and call Gary to score some points. :P

If we cared about season points we'd have found a way, trust me. However, we're not in this deal to go after the championship, currently at least...

So... you don't need points, and you can;t conduct your testing... I think you should let Scott drive after all.

Umm, if we're just taking the car out for shits & giggles then it'll be me driving, not Scott (sorry Scott). :P

But what's funny about suggesting that?
