New Smilies!

Since I don't like the icons that come w/ the vBulletin board we're getting, I drew up some new smilies. I added them to this board for now, just for the hey of it.

I'm a :nerd:

right here

If you click the advanced reply instead of using quick reply, and scroll to the bottom of the screen, on the left you'll see a tag that says 'smilies.'

:brill:
:liljon:
:moon:
:disco:

Please note that the :brilliant: tag has been changed to just :brill : (w/o the space) because vB won't support tags longer than 10 characters. :x

You're gonna have to fill me in on this one. I'm just hitting the same "Post Reply" button as I always do, but now the box with all the smilies on the side of the text box has disappeared. I'm not using the quick reply thingie.

Weird, it was there when I posted it. :?: <- and apparently this one doesn't work. vB reads tags left to right, so we'll see a lot of out-of-place smilies for a while.

click "go advanced" next to the 'post quick reply' button. Then you get the same box as if you had quoted someone. Then down at the bottom iis the smiley key.

I see the link to the "Smilie List" at the bottom left, but that's not what I'm talking about. There used to be a box right next to the text box you type in, that had a bunch of smilies in it which you could just click on. That made it super-easy, instead of having to manually go look at the Smilie list and copy & paste the text.

I hear you. I want the vb tag help back that was above your post so it was easy to change font color, bold, etc.:(

Do you have your User CP options set to Enhanced WYSIWYG editing? Because when I type a reply, I see several icons above me for font, size, color, smileys, etc.
