The Galants All Wheel Steering System

So, I was doing some reading on the GVR-4's AWS system, and I found something interesting the system only moves the rear tires a total of 2 degrees, and its only active ABOVE 31 mph.

yep, now isnt that the same thing for the earlier (1ST gen. 3000GT's)91-93 vr4's ?

kind of reminds me of the HICAS System on the 300zx TT's

That is primarily because it is an in-phase system. It's primary role is to provide enhanced stability in high speed lane changes.

If you want, there are quite a number of 3000gt resources that describe the advantages of the system for that type of driving. those small number of degrees make a significant difference.

I threatened to reverse mine in the Stealth for autocross, but to my knowledge, there is no documented way to enable it at lower speeds.
