Sainz back in rallying
Looks like Citroen is nominating Carlos Sainz for points in Turkey instead of Duval. Duval has also lost his co-driver regardless of where his next drive may be.
Duval was doing so good last year, its really hard for me to see him go, but he has had some really bad offs. |
Duval is done...Biggest disappointment of this year's WRC...
I say, Manfred Stohl gets a call to run the Factory Citroen long term, that's guy has proven he can drive... |
Ohh man.. Manfred was just unbelievable!!!!!
ACTUALLY!! the fact that Privateers did so wonderful/even better than some of the top drivers was just amazing !!!!! |
Bear in mind, there was only one factory driver/car left in the rally at the end.

Exactly !!!! lol |
Actually, thats just more proof that'll probably not be on next years calendar.
|
Yeah, cyprus and acropolis don't need to be run if WRC is serious about reducing costs.
|
Anyone else watching it???
|
Yeah, good rally and Sainz had a great drive.
This drive was supposed to be strictly a one-off return, but it seems Citroen has asked Sainz to drive again in Greece. Citroen promised this is the last time, and that they will respect Sainz' wishes and won't ask ever again in the future if he just drives one more time (boy, that sounds like an ex...) |

Sainz >> Duval. Hell, Duval doesn't even have a crappy nick-name, let alone a cool one like "El Matador"! |
I feel bad for mitsu. they were going great until turbo downpipe failure( StiMike ;) )
