Hawthorne, N-S Challenge

OK, who is going? Trackmaster deserters need not respond. :)

There is some question about Debbie's replacement Hoosiers arriving in time, so both of us may need a "ride".

Anybody want a co-driver and individual coaching if Debbie's tires fall through?

I'll be happy to help folks out anyway since I won't have a car to maintain and prep.

I will be brining my pyrometer, and other toools though.

I'm going, but I'm going to be in TSM since I haven't been able to get the car fixed for SP rules. You're welcome to co-drive with me if you don't mind a guaranteed drop. :p

I'm not going anymore. I'm heading down to Sacramento for my Dad's birthday and a few other things.

Mainly, I didn't want to drive down to Hawthorne this weekend since I'm driving to Vegas next weekend. Too much driving.

You wouldn't be saying that if you had a Honda. :P

Anybody have a half hotel room open? I'm hoping to avoid springing for a full room on top of the late entry fees. Also, caravan?

No results other than we won, and we did well in our respective classes. And yes, Paul was there and won ST.

Long, 90+seconds courses both days, with hundreds of cones. It was a good combination test of speed, manueverability and stamina. The back runway had new asphalt, but the slippery pebbly pavement was still part of the course as well. We saw a few spins, a couple of slight offs, but for the most part no major delays, just long run groups. Dean, Kevin and I all had cone problems on Sat., I think of all of us Dean got only 1 clean run that day. Sunday was better.

At the Sat. night banquet there were raffle drawing prizes. Dean and Kevin and I all won stuff, but Ham was the real big winner, with a helmet bag, a Pirelli jacket, and the grand prize of a 2-day Radical Racing school.

The trophies that Las Vegas presented are awesome:
