Damn you Dean!! That looks like a cool event... but I think I need to save my $$ for a Seca day.
|
I know, that track almost looks Parumpish in it's diabolical nature...
You know you want to... And, probably no Seca until 2006, but you can't quote me on that. |

Definately! Although this track does look really cool. It may be just too soon after the last track day and the next one in a week. |
I had to be reminded this event is this week.
Have fun, Dean! |
Dean, I finally returned your gas cans , they are behind the Stealth....Have fun at Streets.
|
Well, one of the gas cans you returned says "SPERRY" on it.... :)
Streets rocks... It is the autocross of road courses. The car is almost constantly in transition. Speeds are lower, but 1 missed apex can mess you up for 3 turns unless you fix it. Pahrump may be slightly more technical, but this track gives you no rest, and is a very good learning track. Both mornings, we used the Zs before the skidpad... Wow, talk about weight transfer, and giving up 2 consecutive corner exits for the third... Ya shoulda been there... only 40 or so people, so you got 4 30 minute sessions per day, or 4 hours of track time.. Streets of Willow Springs I continue to be amazed how well the WRX handles. I was on my STX ECU running with the AC on full blast and the windows open, and the only cars that caught me in the 2 days were the 2Bennett GTR race car, and Andrew's 2Bennett Coupe with about 500HP and full cage, on R compounds. One of the other instructors in a 400HP S4 on RA1s tried to catch me both days and couldn't and was crushed to know I was running stock boost and the AC on... :) It was a blast. |
You suck at driving Dean.
Nice Job! STX repreeezent! |
Awesome Dean. Having seen those cars first hand, that is intense!
Nice work. |
