There are some incredible drivers from that time period, that don;t get as much press as those two, Jean Alesi, Therry Boutsen, Nigel Mansell...to name a few...I love F1.

Is it just me, or is F1 much more exciting when the commentators are Japanese? :lol:

right at the 3:00 minute mark there is an amazing battle between three cars....unbelievable!!

I was thinking the same thing... Then I realized there is no passing in F1 any more.

Actually, the last race I watched all the way through, Monaco, there was passing. In one corner. And everyone knew it was coming right htere. Last 10 laps or so were actually very engaging to watch. I think that was the same race where M. Schumaker was trying to pass Alonso, and Alonso held him off despite running every lap about a second slower than the last. Pretty sweet racing.

(Actually, I think the battle I'm thinking of was the race before Monaco. Either way, F1's a hell of a lot better this year, stupid tire rules or no.)
