NASA AI @ Sears Point 8/6-7
We'll be out there this weekend in case anyone wants to come watch the ponycars race. :D
|
I might make it... I'm supposed to pick up the WRX from Sac this weekend (crosses fingers), so I'll be only an hour away or so.
Do you have a cell phone number yet that I can reach you at over the weekend? PM me! |
hmm, tempting... I'll be in the area (kinda) but I don't know if I can sneak away for this.

If anyone comes looking for us, we'll be set up next to a Blue Dodge Ram pickup & white enclosed trailer (unmarked). It's the bright yellow Mustang with a big wing on the back, with a bunch of guys with yellow MM shirts on. :D Once you find the American Iron/Camaro-Mustang Challenge paddock area (everyone tends to cluster together), we shouldn't be hard to find.
|
I could be in the area to check out a car in Santa Rosa on saturday. If so, I'll try to stop by.

New toy. 1996 M Edition Miata. Dean, chip in- is there any reason not to get the M besides the leather seats? I'll be looking to put my Cobra bucket in it anyway.

For anyone making the trip out, our schedule for Sat. & Sun. is:
Warmup: 8:40 - 9:00 Qualifying race: 11:45 - 12:05 Main Race: 3:05 - 3:35 |
Well, we were DQ'd for violating the sound limit on Saturday, and we placed 2nd on Sunday. All in all a so-so weekend. Don't get me started on how retarded the sound limits are either. Our car was not as loud as half the cars in the paddock, but because of the exhaust pipe placement on the passenger side it was tripping the frigging sound meter.
