Go team-who's-name-starts-with-'A'

I hope both teams have a fun time together!

Matt, we're getting together to watch a game or two this week, yes?

(And I'm pissed... I'm going to the A's game this Friday... why couldn't they have scheduled A's and Angels this weekend instead of A's and Twins. :( )

It's not like I got into Art's threads and bash how much I dislike all-male Greco-Roman oil wrestling.

Hahahah...I was just messin. I just never got into baseball much. Last time I watched it was when Nolan Ryan was playing. And I guess the steriod conspiracy has been hurting my head. So I exit stage left...

When they made the schedule, they thought Twins>A's or Angels. Plus God hates you.

Well, Dukes of Hazard tonight (So wil have to DVR it.)
SCCA Meeting Wednesday (Although we can watch the end of the game)
Thursday SECCS Meet (We can watch the game at Bully's)

Lots to do this week.

Cool Deal you're going to the game Friday, I am really in the mood to hit an MLB game before season's end.

Well, I can see if my parents can get an extra ticket for you... you know, in exchange for a ride to Sac Friday. But you'll need to take at least a half day on Friday, so we can get to the Bay in time... which I'm guessing is probably pretty unlikely considering you're already missing work (well I wouldn't say that I've been missing work, Bob) this week.

No chance

Spoiler Discussion

OKay, game 1 went to the Angels 9-2, Lackey was on his game, pretty much quieted fown the A's bats. However, Zito pitches Wednesday, and He's pergformed well against the mighty Halo's this year. I watched the highlights, Angels looked TOUGH...Can;t wait to see Wednesday nights game.

LetItRev 2005-08-09 10:06 PM

Angels looked good tonight. 1 down!

Kevin M 2005-08-10 02:29 AM

Zito pitching equals A's win for the last month or so. Even when he finally blew up, the offense followed suit. Harden is the real deal, and even Blanton and Haren have been good this year. Amazing.

sperry 2005-08-10 09:13 AM

The Angel's win was really just due to one swing of Vlad's bat.

Had he missed that pitch, the ballgame would have been a real battle. After the grand-slam, the A's played some good baseball, even knowing they were gonna lose.

I'd be worried if I were the Angels... I think the A's will take the next two games, they're out for blood now. But it's always better to be lucky than good, isn't it. :P
