Its really sad when the things I say are true.

I jumped on one forum to defend a vendor that was being liblis. Instantly everyone feels that they are better than me. In fact, this DUMBASS admin, decided to research who I am to the point of following me to 4 different forums.

Well Its nice how much of an impact I have when making only 4 posts.

I was attacked personally, threatened through pm, and followed to my home board. Its truly amazing how disagreeable I am. For someone to show that much malice. That much anger.

All I was trying to do is support a vendor that takes care of me. I never attacked anyone personally.

Its really wierd that when you are a part of forums for so long, you see the progression that one takes as they learn the ropes.

you first join you are timid, ask questions rarely, because everytime you do, the 2nd oldest people there jump down your throat for not using the search function.

then you become adicted, you visit the forum like its crank and you need your daily fix of knowledge about this topic that so sparked your interest.

then most people start to scream for acceptance, they post pictures and design things to grab peoples attention just to get the positive reinforcement that everyone in life needs from their piers. ironically this is when i have the most fun on a forum.

then people generally start to actually do things with their car or motorcycle or whatever they have that relates to the forum. most of their time is spent doing instead of debating. they dont have time to refute all the BS they read through on a daily basis. they see the mistakes they made when first posting and reflect on them everytime they start a new thread. they use the search function so much that the every 30 seconds rule starts to annoy them. they dont post much, and when they do, they are generally trying to help. alot of times it would take the same ammount of time to just answer a noobs question then to state that they are a moron for not using the search function. only, you have actually helped them, and they dont feel like an idiot afterwards.

enlightenment.... this is when you realize that no matter how good your intentions are, the sites admin, can and will do whatever they want. whether it be, belittle noobs, or liblis vendors. this might also be titled acceptance.

one thing you come to realize though.

when in an argument online, over the internet, on a forum. You know you have won, when the everyone starts to make fun of something insignificant. Like gee, i dont know.

spelling.
or perhaps location.
maybe even your own car/bike/(enter item here for forum)

i guess this really upset me.
All i was trying to do was help.

One day Ill have as much money as jay and silent bob. then ill make my dreams come true.
